I’ve been wanting to dine at beach tavern, unfortunately we were disappointed. It definitely has a great ambience. The hosts seemed unwelcoming upon arrival. When we got sat to our table, we were sat in the middle and not by the water. I politely asked if we can switch to a table by the water for the scenery. I wanted it to be extra special since we were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Nobody was there, only about 5/6 tables were occupied outside. So I didn’t think asking was a big deal. When I asked, unfortunately the response I got from the host was very rude. Seemed like it was the end of the world that I even asked. She said “I have to go back and check” with an attitude and sighed as she left.

So we went for dinner Sunday July 2nd. Took the boat down from the Hudson. Great experience. The palm trees drinks and music were great. We had a group of 7 and enjoyed a variety of rolls on the deck. Service was prompt and we had a great time. So much so that we drove the boat back down for lunch the next day. I would have loved to give 5 stars across the board but our lunch was a major disappointment. So we had what seemed like a newer waiter. That’s fine and we could understand that but our lunch was very long and after taking our order he never came back for over 30minutes. I saw him on the way to the restroom and asked him to stop by the table. No drinks. Nothing. He even forgot to bring drinks that were ordered. Very poor experience. This place isn’t cheap – when you’re paying top dollar for food you kinda expect a little more.

My fiancé and I came to grab some appetizers and enjoy the nice weather! We sat outside in their outdoor oasis and it was such a vibe. The waterfront views, with the Miami pool side music, great food and drinks! We had the Thai calamari and the Buffalo wings, both were gluten free and I have so say definitely in the top 2 of best GF calamari around! Can’t wait to go back and get it again! They have a parking lot and also do valet which is nice!

The beach vibe is evident here- I ended up here for a happy hour. The Taro Tuna Tacos were delicious. The sushi options were all pretty basic that were in the Happy Hour Menu. I did have two different margaritas- spicy Mamacita and the Berry Berry Spicy both felt like good drinks at the $10 price tag.

Went with a group of six last night. Atmosphere is incredible. Inside has a beautiful beach feel, and the Long dock outside filled with tables, Palm Trees and lighting down to the end of dock is so elegant. Food was Great. Sushi was delicious, two friends had the pork chops which were prepared to perfection. Service was on point. We’ll be back !!

Place is very beautiful: marina; flowers; good music; sunset ❤️. Food is pretty good but pricey. Mixed cocktails are not great, that might also depend on the bartender. Been there several times. Service depends on who work there: sometimes fast sometimes slow.

This place came highly recommended and we were excited to try it. We arrived and we were immediately sat outside at a high top table. We sat for 20min with no service and we had a couple of parties arrive after us, and immediately they were served. We finally were able to get the attention of a server and ask if they would either grab our server or a manager. Eventually a manager came over and said, “yeah you guys needing a manager?” I said, “ we need someone, we’ve been here for 20-25 min now and we don’t even have water. She said, “oh he should have gotten your server not me, sorry about that let me find your server.” She didn’t offer to grab our drinks or pour some water or even take any part of our order. The server came over and did not apologized either, it was just a simple….can I get your order. I guess since we sat there for so long she decided to take our entire order. We did get our app 15min after ordering, our drinks came out another 20min later, and then our food arrived about another 7-8min. We were left we zero water or alcohol for sometime, but then we were finally tended to again. The food lacked season, and flavor. We did enjoy the sushi, and our server was nice. I don’t think we will be going back anytime soon.
