We had lunch at Beacon today–our first time back at this location since before the pandemic. This is about the prettiest dockside dining spot in Annapolis, and there is plenty of dedicated parking, unlike downtown. We ate outside, on a beautiful day. The shrimp & corn chowder gets an A+. I had the Beacon salad, which was tasty too. My husband had the crab cake sandwich, which was a nice tall crabcake. The service was friendly and the food came out quickly. Don’t miss this place.

The scenery is gorgeous. I love the music selections for the outside area. I didn’t have a great dining experience, but there is room for growth and improvements which is a plus. The service wasn’t the best, the drinks were weak and the food was bland. The chef cooks “Sous Vide” style, which can leave the chicken with a tender, red tint in color, to the bone. However the Jerk BBQ sauce was delicious with the seasonings and toppings.

We were a party of 3.Each of us thought that the food was just so so. Nothing exceptional. The drinks were watered down, both with alcohol and without; stick to water (or bring your own). Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive.

Really enjoyed espresso martinis and shrimp and corn chowder last night while sitting at the bar by the water. Had a great chat with the new owners and they are doing all they can to provide a great dining atmosphere on the water for the condo community, boaters and all visitors. I can’t wait to try their seafood and mussels next. Maybe with the duck fat fries from Fox’s den?They said they will be getting some music soon.

Four old friends met to catch up and have lunch. Coincidentally it was Monday. Beacon’s Smash Burgers were the special! They were hot, delicious with cheese, lettuce, tomato, special sauce and either cole slaw or FF’s. All were delicious. Service by Sarah was terrific. We will definitely return!
