My wife and I stopped here for lunch after taking a 2 hour nature tour and it was fantastic. We got the chowder and barley soup to start, along with a couple a of drinks (North wind cider and Harper Mountain hazy IPA). For the main dish, we got slab salmon and rockfish tacos. Both of these dishes were simple but well executed! Quite tasty!

We finally got to try this place after being here a week and we were pleased. The savory butter board was good. We ordered the barley soup and that was delicious! I had the Mac ‘n cheese without any additional protein. I asked to add reindeer sausage but I the server informed me they don’t “offer that anymore.” I don’t quite understand that since they offer to add reindeer sausage to other dishes. The Mac n cheese was good but honestly, did not have a ton of flavor. I added the homemade aioli to it and it was a little more flavorful. I feel like a little salt would have helped too but since it wasn’t on the table, I didn’t bother. My husband enjoyed the lingcod sandwich. He got one of the last ones they had! My niece was torn about what to get and our server suggested the rockfish tacos. She had never had rockfish and was excited to try it. She was a bit disappointed at the small portion of fish that was in the tacos. She wasn’t blown away by the flavor and ended up adding the super spicy homemade hot sauce to them, which she liked. We ordered the chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches for dessert and were pleased! They were delicious, the cookies tasted fresh and the ice cream was a perfect complement! We loved the ambience and decor and the little shop was super fun for some souvenirs. I would return again for lunch if we had more time but all in all, it was a nice experience.

We visited here while on our Alaska cruise. Their menu is very limited, and the prices were high. My family enjoyed it but im a little picky, and they didn’t have anything on the menu that I liked. But if you like salmon or reindeer hotdogs, this place is for you.

Absolutely lovely ambiance and food, great service and yes they offer fresh caught seafood. We had the Salmon special of the day with an amazing Salad using pickled veggies from a Juneau supplier and it was all fantastic. This place looks a little unassuming from the outside but you will NOT regret dining here!

Had a very good experience here today. Fresh caught King Salmon on a cedar plank with amazing kale salad, salmon macaroni, and smoked salmon nachos. All tasted amazing and photo worthy. Prices reasonable too, in a historic building right in downtown next to the harbor. Our new favorite Sitka restaurant. We’re only here for 4 days this visit, but we’ll eat there at least one more time before we leave.
