If this is alien’s food… Then beam me up! This restaurant was well worth the drive off the beat and path from the highway. Party of three adults – I had the Chub – Wow!!! The Chub is a pick your meat (chicken, pork, or brisket), coleslaw, and mac & cheese wrap. My husband had the 1/2 rack of ribs with coleslaw and cornbread. Our adult son had the brisket sandwich with two sides. Everyone was very satisfied! All of the sauces are homemade and on point – we tried them all and loved all of the flavors. The sweat tea was perfectly sweet and not overly sweet. We also took our desert to go for our drive back to Matyland! homemade peanut butter cheesecake and a chocolate cake! My husband said the food was out of this world – he is very corny!

While visiting our son and daughter in law today we ate lunch at BeamupBbq .This is a small but very nice place to get some BBQ . If you eat in or get some take out this is super good BBQ . They have a very nice menu full of great food . I wish I had time to try all of it . I got the pork BBQ platter with slaw and beans . It was very good . I need to try the brisket . Next time I will try the brisket lol . The young lady who took our order I assume was the owner but not sure . She was very nice ,very helpful and even as busy as they were she checked on us several times making sure we had everything we needed . If you in town visiting or driving through and need some lunch give BeamupBBQ a try . I don’t think your gunna regret it . Thanks for lunch !!

Biggest, most delicious ribs I’ve ever had. No sauce needed! Melt-in-your-mouth brisket that’s perfectly seasoned. Delicious pulled pork… So worth the trip, and definitely coming back! All sides home made. NC sauce is amazing. Staff is great. I’m full and I already want to come back

Every time I am in town I look forward to visiting this place. Whether it is the pulled pork sandwich, ribs, or desserts you really can’t go wrong. Delicious food. If you are lucky enough to be there when they have their smoked bacon then please do yourself a favor and try it.

The Best BBQ in Lexington and surrounding areas! They cater as well! If you’ve never had it try the blue cheese coleslaw with your yummy pulled pork sandwich. 4 sauces to choose from!

Stumbled on this gem of a joint. I’ve tried a lot of BBQ from different regions, and this is one of the best. Friendly Virginia staff, welcoming and some of the nicest. Piggy Nochos gets my first ever review.

Awesome food for an awesome price. I had the pulled pork with mashed potatoes and corn bread and my friend has the brisket sandwhich with Mac and cheese and potato salad. Everything was soooo tasty and the staff got the food out really fast despite how busy it was. Seating is limited and they do run out of things so if you plan to dine in and get your first choice try and get there early.

The. Best. BBQ. I’ve. Ever. Had. The people were so kind -even to the Jersey girl who asked for unsweetened tea 🙂 the best damn pumpkin spice !!! We live 6hours away and openly have admitted to maybe making a day of it to visit again! Check this place out you won’t be sorry!!! Thanks Beamup! PS I still haven’t been able to decide which sauce was my favorite

Honestly, if you come to Lexington Virginia, and don’t explore a couple of side roads to hit up this bad@$$ BBQ joint then you probably don’t deserve to taste this kind of heaven. This is one of those small businesses that provides big service and even bigger quality! Including everything from fresh made from scratch daily deserts, to deviled eggs, potato salad, brisket, pulled pork and more! Just take a peek at the menu sometime. Wash it all down with a cold glass of sweet ice tea, or cold Dr. Pepper. Beameup is a small eat in type café/diner with excellent and friendly service. Their restaurant is clean and decorated quite perfectly for a BBQ place. With big open windows over looking the woods creek and local Lime Kiln Road, Beameup is just a hop skip and jump on the outskirts of town, but well worth the one extra minute it takes you to drive there. Scott and Robin Hayslett- owners, support local artists, and this local artist will forever support the best BBQ and Brisket I have ever had! If they have the pulled pork Chili on special- you better give it a try- holy WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
