After looking at reviews, we were hesitant to go here, because of the bad reviews of their service and mediocre food. Well….I am so glad we went. We were greeted almost immediately after walking in the door. The restaurant was neat and homey with homemade items to choose from while shopping. Rosie was our server. She was very polite and helpful. My sister had coffee and the blondie bread pudding. I had the cinnamon roll bread pudding. They were both delicious. I highly recommend trying this place whenever you’re in Bristol.

The place has too much junk spread around. There are lots of menu items to choose from for a restaurant with few employees. They might do better with fewer food items which would allow for better results. I got a turkey club which wasn’t made correctly. Instead of sliced turkey, it was a bunch of turkey pieces which made for a mess trying to eat. It took 8 napkins before I gave up before finishing. The potato salad was a total surprise. It was spicy hot from pepper chunks. This was my first visit to a place that has been open for a year. I have heard the food is good. I can’t bear witness to that. I will try another visit and update this review.

That homemade brioche is delicious! Coffee is great! Atmosphere is so laid back and homey. Live music made it that much more inviting. Awesome Sunday morning vibe! 4/5 because as much as the food and atmosphere were great, the floor, bathroom and some tables were not clean even when there were only 3 active tables. Prices, too, need to be adjusted some ($10 for most entrees, no matter the complexity).

Food is good but not terribly exciting. The atmosphere and the staff though.. Awkward at best. Every interaction was just clunky – asked where the restroom was and got no response, just a finger point in that direction. Had to ask for drink cups even though we ordered drinks, we weren’t sure if we were supposed to wait for our food and go sit, weren’t sure if we were supposed to bus our table on our own, they just kinda blankly stare at you when you come in.. For the amount of money for lunch + a couple sweet items – I’d probably choose somewhere else with a pulse.

Fantastic biscuits and gravy; great sandwiches and soups; love the relaxed NOLA vibe (complete with beignets) complete with local music on the weekends. They also support local farms (like my family’s – a women-owned farm) and make me, an openly bisexual woman, feel right at home, whether I show up in work clothes covered in mud or dressed to the nines. Give ’em a shot. The menu can be overwhelming and some of the staff is young, but they learn fast and have good intentions, so just ask if you can’t spot what you were looking for!
