Long a family favorite, Bearnos has had some quality issues recently, but tonight was worse than normal. It took them 90 minutes to deliver a pizza that arrived luke warm and crushed. The small pepperoni pizza was over sauced and undercooked. For a place that’s made consistently good pizza, this was a big miss.

For lunch today, I had the 6” Super Veggie pizza “ and “ Derby Pie “ = Both were delicious. Derby pie baked in their oven so had a delicious crispy crust. Lunch pizza is a nice portion. Waitress very nice and attentive. I’ve also had keto pizza with no crust with sausage, mushroom & onions & the pretzel sticks ! All tasty !

I ordered the chicken parm tonight 4.22 23 at the Bearnos across from Bowman Field on Taylorsville Rd.. They served mass processed rubber like breaded chicken breasts over Penne. When I complained to the waitress about the poor quality and that it was not a real piece of chicken, she said she spoke to the manager. I ate about 3 bites of this horrible rubberized chicken and a few more bites of pasta and bread. The manager never appeared or came to my table. For a great pizza place I am shocked at the disgusting dish they serve as chicken parm and very upset that I was blown off by the manager. Beware!
