We are in from out of town and ordered Doordash. I must have looked at Google reviews for the wrong Bearno’s because this food was AWFUL. We spent $50 on two plates of pasta and one order of cinnamon sticks, and NONE of it was edible. The cinnamon sticks were ice cold and tasted/were textured like cardboard. The pasta “sauce” tastes like they just dumped a of tomato paste on penne pasta with a hint of burnt plastic (the pasta was so waterlogged it was inedible). My boyfriend got lasagna and only ate 3 bites (he will eat anything) and said it was horrible. Mine was missing chicken, unless it was somehow mixed into the mixture of sauce. The ONLY thing that was good and appetizing was their cheesy bread. Pathetic to spend $50 on dinner and have to buy Wendy’s after because no one could stomach to eat it.

I am a pizza guy. We tried Bearno’s for the first time this month mainly because of the lack of good pizza joints in Eastwood. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a Mama Bearno’s. The ingredients I’ll give 5-star rating. Plenty of sausage, pepperoni, diced onion, green peppers and black/green olives. The mozzarella was savory and of good quality. The sauce was adequate quantity maybe a tad more given a heaping of toppings. Oven time was very good with browned mozzarella and bottom crust.

It’s the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. My husband and I split a large pizza. We got one with half ham and half pork sausage with extra sauce. We both really enjoyed it. The service was great and quick. We’ll be eating dinner there again.

Went to Middletown Bearnos ordered large Mama Bearno. The crust was hard and like a separate entity to the toppings. Had zero flavor. While waiting for pizza staff must been cleaning with Clorox. The chemical smell was horrible. Staff was great! Just can’t spend $30 plus for a pizza with no taste

Bearnos fan since early 70’s, Bowman Field! Still enjoy Bearnos but now at English Station, I think it’s a franchise store which usually means owner doesn’t have to stick to the recipe or service you are used to at a corporate store. I think that is why it is good but inconsistent. Plentiful toppings but crust is sometimes bland (like tonight) reminding me of frozen. I’m assured dough is made in store so not sure why so bland! I’ll give them another try maybe just new pizza maker. I did call and talked to someone before posting which is only fair, but seemed to fall on deaf ears.
