No complaints just full bellies. We’ve been a few times and at first took some time to get our mojo. Since then we’ve been super happy with our experience. From the rotisserie and carnitas tacos to the yummy truffle fries we have been walking away super satisfied. The gal behind the counter is so sweet. I regret I didn’t get her name.

My friend and I ate here for the first time on taco Tuesday. I ordered 3 different tacos. Ordering is done at a counter, and pickup is in the next room next to alcove, where an employee calls out orders (when it gets busy, they use a bull horn). Because of the bull horn and the crowd, this was not a great place to catch up with a friend and hold a conversation. It was very loud and chaotic. One taco was very good, one was ok, and one was flavorless and bland. I would not pay full price for any of them normally.

Soooo wanted to give 5 stars but due to ordering delivery with NO utensils or napkins going with a 4.5! We visited a local brewery and ordered delivery to the brewery, food was delish! The BEST truffle fries I’ve EVER had! Tacos were great and service was fast and driver was friendly and didn’t have a hard time finding us at the brewery at all. We will be eating at this spot again (I mean $2 taco Tuesday ?!!! Yes please!)

Delish! We went for their $5 burger special, which is a price you just can’t beat (street). We’ll definitely be back for more. Pleasant staff and atmosphere. They even had some great live music. Plenty of seating in the Alcove and outdoors, and the garage door was up, which let in a nice summer breeze.

Amazing vibes and food! Beat Street is the spot for something new for sure. The food was fast, fresh, creative, and with great portions. A lot of different flavors that makes you say WOW! We ordered the Roja Salsa, Pork Belly Steam Bun and their fries was amazing. This was a definite upgrade than the Mess Hall that was at this location prior. Atmosphere is only good because of the pre existing bar Alcove. The owner at beat street is only there for the money and the workers all seemed stressed. The food continually gives me and people I know food poisoning. True Blue needs to stop opening places for cash grabs and should focus on one thing at a time. Wilmington doesn’t need more fake fancy food from owners that don’t care.

Enjoyed some wonderful beers @fermentalnc and great food at the newest place in the cargo district @beatst_streetfood. The guacamole was a large portion and wonder citus and salt flavor. The ice cold ramen noodles with kimchi and egg were delicious. The Carne asada tacos were seasoned well. Great place to grab food and drinks.
