The food was terribly overpriced, unseasoned and flavorless, came out of the kitchen ice cold, and the portions were pitifully small. I’m not sure why other reviewers keep talking about the prime rib when my party of ten all expressed how thin and flavorless it was. The tiny bit of mashed potatoes we each got were a hit with most of us because it actually tasted like something, but that’s basically the only thing that was enjoyable. The service was decent enough, although a bit slow at times. Nice decor, although more suited to elderly people. Not a place for children though, as almost every customer was edging on retirement age. The mandatory valet parking is a tad annoying. I would never go back to this restaurant again. Give me McDonald’s instead; at least I’ll get my moneys worth.

What’s not to love? Hands down, the best prime rib I have ever had. Seasoned to perfection. And the sides, including the Yorkshire Pudding, the creamed corn, and the spinach, were delicious additions. And the service couldn’t have been better. Highly recommended.

Really nice atmosphere, very comfortable and fancy feel to it. Would definitely recommend it and will definitely return. Ryan was waiter. He was certainly a big part of the experience. He had a good attitude to him, ready to help and even explain and recommend the best dishes I’ve tasted in a while. It is a bit pricy but considering the food, service, and atmosphere it was well worth it!!

This place is just okay. I’ve been to a lot of places for the prime rib and this just sort of fell flat. The decor was spot on and the wait staff did a good job but I just didn’t feel like the food was top notch that day. We did go on a day where they offer the discounted pricing so maybe that had something to do with it, but I’ll be hard pressed to go back when Taylors is only 5 miles away.

Beckham is surprisingly good for a traditional faire establishment. Expectations may want to be held in check for an older place like this yet it’s still good for what it is. The dark, somewhat dreary atmosphere actually works to its benefit as it only adds to the overall character. Popular picks include the fish and chips as well as the prime rib and they do have a decent happy hour.

I have been going there for 15 years and I have to say the service was poor. My wife and I were rushed through dinner and the food had no flavor. Not happy about the quality of service.

i hope they don’t get “lost” being off the high traffic area of old pasadena. it would be a shame if they didn’t make it.
