Great nostalgic 50s diner. Of course, we loved the nod to Becky Thatcher, Tom Sawyer’s love interest from the Mark Twain book, in Mark Twain’s hometown. Just a few blocks from the MO river. We parked up the street and enjoyed the walk and old downtown, with thriving shops and coffee shops along the way. Definitely we will be going back to Hannibal and this diner. Waitress was down home friendly too!!

The service was good. Unfortunately the food wasn’t. My salad had black, liquefying leaves in it. They did replace it with a much fresher version, but the cook shouldn’t have sent it out. My wife’s fries were limp, undercooked

Today, we stopped in while waiting for an online appointment with my sons teacher. We ordered the pork tenderloin, the fried chicken sandwich, and a chili burger. The food was hand breaded and seasoned perfectly. The fries were homemade, too! Just would have preferred that they do the double fry to make them crispy. Not complaining at all though. Everything was delicious! Our server was sweet and very accommodating. Hopefully we will have a chance to come back by for breakfast some time.

Great little diner. Amazing food and even better service. We had the biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, and sausage. All scratch Made with great ingredients. Best stop we could have made.

This place was great! The portions were huge, & the prices were reasonable! I ordered the (hand breaded) Chicken Fried Steak! It tasted great, the hashbrowns, & eggs were perfectly cooked! You can’t go wrong with this! All the staff was very friendly, & the restaurant was very clean! This is definitely a popular spot for locals!

Enjoyable dining experience in downtown Hannibal at this gem. My brother and I both ordered the country fried steak breakfast dinners and were pleasantly satisfied with our choice. The eggs, hashbrowns, toast, gravy and country fried steak were cooked to perfection. The look of the diner, just gave you that feel you can’t get everywhere. Our server was very nice and attentive. Just an overall pleasant experience. If you’re hungry, this place won’t disappoint.

Veggie omelet and bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns. The omelette was garbage…veggies weren’t sauteed until they were soft. So, it was like eating a thin cheese omelet with raw veggies. Bacon, waa crispy, eggs (over medium) very good, but the hashbrown were under cooked ans bland.

We were sat rather soon after entry, despite the place being rather packed during the after-church rush. We were checked on frequently, and the waitresses each seemed to take a turn walking around to top off coffee mugs and check on beverage needs of all guests, whether that waitress was serving that table or not. Food was great as well, loved the chopped steak with mushrooms. The over easy eggs were perfect. The hashbrowns and toast were simply what I expect to have when I order those things, nothing groundbreaking, which is fine.

My dining companion was disappointed they were out of home fries at 10:00 am on a Sunday, but she loved the Denver omelette. My eggs and bacon were priced appropriately. The toast was toast. It was a busy, friendly, and happy establishment.
