Superb breakfast and lunch place in the back of York county. The food is all homemade, fresh, tasty, and bountiful. The owner does the cooking and serving (with help) – and everybody is friendly and attentive. It’s your basic American food, including marvelous chipped beef and sausage gravy. The homemade breakfast sausage is outstanding. Give it a try if you’re within driving distance.

This is a great hometown place. Very warm and inviting staff want you to have a nice experience. Food was great and prepared fresh. Lots of history on display in the restaurant so take a moment to browse. My son loved his burger and my turkey sandwich was made with REAL turkey – like the kind you serve on Thanksgiving – not that huge white blob you see in deli slicers. Highly recommend this place.

Good home cooking, friendly, country atmosphere. #28 Sausage gravy over toast, 2 eggs with choice of meat and fried potatoes added onions. Good coffee and you can pick your own mug. Take the drive to a nice smaller restaurant open for breakfast and lunch.

This restaurant is an absolute gem hole in the wall! It’s owned by a mother daughter duo and the mother is around 80 years old an absolute peach! The food was simple but tasted incredible- it honestly felt like I was eating in my mothers kitchen, the homiest of cooking! I would definitely recommend this place to others!

If you’re looking for good home cooking for breakfast for lunch in the East Prospect area, look no further. You’ll enjoy great food in a restaurant surrounded by antiques and plentiful hanging plants or you can enjoy outdoor seating when the weather is nice. The owner Becky was very hospitable towards all her guests and greeted her regulars by name. She treated me with one of her many scrumptious hamburgers. I highly recommend stopping by for the food, nastalgia sand hospitality.
