What a gem! Baked goods and treats surround you in this charming bakery and cafe. The bakery (rhubarb pie) and sandwiches (Reuben and mushroom smothered beef) we ordered were fabulous and the mushroom soup was some of the best I have ever had. In addition, Becky’s includes an impressive ice cream counter and mouth watering take and bake pizzas. We will be returning regularly.

Phenomenal service and food. I was expecting a decent burger given the reviews and crowd, but what I got- Lasso Burger, was amazing! Common toppings done impeccably well! The sauce was devine, as was the bacon. Purchased a large container of their honey cinnamon butter and cannot wait to try it. Even my husband is super excited about this place and can’t wait to go back lol.

I was looking for a pre-made birthday cake and found Becky’s. I was not disappointed at all. The cake was amazing, the woman working the counter was super nice. We discussed the chicken dumpling soup and she said it was really good. I had to try it and it was delicious!!! I bought a cake, cupcakes, and soup and they were all super good. Can’t wait to try the steak and eggs one of these days!!

With handcrafted soups, delicious sandwiches, fulfilling breakfast, and simply wonderful sweets, Becky’s Sugar Shack is a premier staple to Adams County right in the center of town! As a regular, I come in here at least once a week always craving a good lunch or breakfast. I recommend their Biscuits and Gravy or their Reuben Sandwich. However, their soups, which they make from scratch, are also quite lovely and perfect for a cold day outside. (I particularly love their Beefy Mushroom.)

As a local from the area, I always loved Becky’s but I feel as if the service has significantly gone down. Their fish sandwich is great, chicken dumping soup is amazing, but the service is no longer how it used to be. My mother and I sat down and got out drink order, and when I asked if I should order at the counter, the waitress said it wasnt necessary. We then saw others sit down, and some go to the counter to get their orders in. The waitress took the other order that sat down before, which is alright. We waited though for over 20 minutes without being helped whether we stood at the counter or not. I was super disappointed in the service, as I really do love this place. 🙁

We stopped here while staying at Buckhorn State Park. Absolute gem! Food was fantastic, the staff was beyond friendly and an added bonus – treats everywhere. We left with a few additional snacks to take back home too. Definitely recommend.

Such a cute and charming shop! Adams Friendship is about as far from a big city as you can get, but despite it’s surroundings Becky’s Sugar Shack has a beautiful, warm dining area and shop. Much bigger inside than you would expect, and they make the most of the space with dozens of different types of snacks, breads, and desserts for both dine in and take out. Can’t wait for my next trip through town to try more of the menu!
