Best roast beef sandwiches I’ve ever had, hands down. Small, family-run establishment isn’t much to look at but they got it where it counts. I moved away nine years ago and had the chance to return today. I’ve been dreaming about eating “Jack’s Favorite” for weeks and it did not disappoint. It was so delicious I could have cried!

This review pains me to write this review. My coworkers and I order from BHOB at least once a week. Normally, they’re pretty good. The past few months they have been average at best. They constantly forget items/condiments for our meals. It’s one of those things where it’s not a big enough deal to call and complain or drive back to have them fix, but it also isn’t what you ordered and can sometimes have your meal lacking.

We absolutely loved eating here! The food was great the service was awesome, the tables were clean. There wasn’t a lot of room to eat but I think that’s expected with most of the customers coming in or come word getting in fast and getting out fast. I couldn’t recommend this enough for people that are visiting the area, it is such a great sandwich we got the roast beef club.

I’d literally fly across the country to go back to this place occasionally. Amazing Greek-inspired food place with the best roast beef sandwich (maybe even best sandwich) I’ve ever had – the Jack’s Special. I loved their Buffalo chicken strips with blue cheese sauce and ranch sauce. Lots of options and all of it done just good and authentic, and can easily order by texting them. Their roast beef was really high quality meat every time for the 2 years I ate there.

I wasn’t even hungry when I went there but their food was so good I can’t even post a picture now because I ate it so fast. The place was packed. The woman took my order right away. And then my roast beef sandwich was ready in about 25 seconds. They had 3 older guys in the back whipping out sandwiches in record time. The roast beef sandwich was very good. They use a lot of beef in the sandwich. The bread was my favorite part. Everything tasted fresh. I had the baklava too. It was extremely sweet. Best I’ve had.

The food is good. I had the souvlaki. The meat was very tasty and well done. I got onion rings. They were well done. They have the very light flaky crust, which is not my favorite, and they are sweet onions. It also comes with a small salad. Staff was friendly. Service was pretty quick considering they had a lot of people coming through. There is only a few tables. The place is pretty crowded with extra stock. The place was clean, just cluttered.

If you’re looking for a dining experience that will make you sick, look no further than the Bedford House of Roast Beef on Great Road. I recently visited this establishment and ended up with a severe case of food poisoning that lasted for days. It was a nightmare, to say the least.

On Friday’s during Lent my wife and I are always looking for a fish/seafood dinner. Last night we ate dinner from Bedford House of Beef. You may not expect to get great fish or seafood from a “house of beef” but our dinner was excellent. We had fried fish and a box of fried clams. They were cooked perfectly and were as fresh as any we have ever had from “fancy” restaurants. The portions were large. Well Done!
