Our first dinning experience at the restaurant the crab dip is out of this world good. Please don’t change it!!! Prices are very reasonable. Our waitress was very friendly and the food came out so quick. We’ll be back! Edited for 2nd time back review great food as always perfect temperature. Quick service. It was a tad cold downstairs I would reccomend a sweatshirt.

I was just there for my bday. I was excited to check it out considering how great the reviews were about the crab dip. I was very disappointed. First off I called to make reservations and the lady on the phone was quite rude. The crab dip was cold and tasted of nothing but cream cheese. They brought all of the food out before I could even finish my salad. I will say my waitress was very nice. Don’t think I’ll be back.

The food was very good. We sat downstairs and they have a music system that you can play through an app. The owner said that he couldn’t turn it up so it wouldn’t bother upstairs patrons. Other customers wanted to listen to music also. The owner came after one song to see if we were done with music because he said the silence was deafining. He was going to turn up his one speaker TV. It’s a downstairs bar. Dart machines, etc. we’re shut down. Pool tables were open, apparently they are quiet. It’s Monday, no business or noise from upstairs. 5 people at the bar. Wonder why. Apparently it’s a hobby and no longer a business for the owner. Never coming back

Many different items were ordered for a 7 person table. Food for the entire table was below average. Not one item was worth going there for, and are you telling me that a pud/restaurant in 2023 can’t carry Coke & Pepsi products. Don’t waste your time or money on this place.

Small town eatery… old building but modestly decorated…2 man band was playing when I for there around 8 pm… it was a little weird that I was they only person dining, everyone else had cocktails. Food was good, so I’m not complaining

This place was great, we’ve always talked about eating here for the last 30 years and finally did! It was not disappointing, the food and service was wonderful. We all had some sort of seafood the seafood trios, steamed mussels, crab legs, fish sandwich, calamari, fried mushrooms, and the crab dip all of it was great the crab legs were amazing, sweet, and juiciest I’ve had in awhile. Our waitress kept apologizing for the food taking too long but it was out in a reasonable amount of time and she was amazing and very attentive, when we go back I hope to have her again! We had one very small issue with an order of mussels. We expressed our concerns and it was dealt with very quickly. Very friendly atmosphere and staff, we all can’t wait to go back! I’d also like to add that the prices aren’t terrible either especially for a seafood joint!

I had the Roast Beef sandwich hot and French fries. It was delicious. Very tender. Despite being mostly seafood it did not have a fish smell in the air that most seafood places have. I do not like seafood. The people were friendly and the price was very worth what we paid. Would go back.

A hidden gem in the sleepy hollow of Bedford PA. Great restaurant right off the turnpike for those passing through; with plenty of history and hospitality. The tavern includes an upstairs restaurant and downstairs bar including a pool table & a few old school games.
