The dinner was good, we had the Buffalo wings for an appetizer. I thought the wings were perfectly seasoned and you could actually taste the meat. The rest of our meal was good. My only complaint is the ordering process. You have to order at a counter then wait for it to be done with a buzzer. However if you want drinks you need to rely on the wait staff. Went there on Valentine’s Day (2023) at about 7:40PM. Just a handful of customers there at the time. We got seated right away. From the Beechwood Grill, we ordered a Western burger with sweet potato fries ($14), Buffalo chicken flatbread ($12) and a tossed salad ($6).

Erie Brewing includes the Birchwood Inn. Erie is beer, Beechwood Inn is Food. They have a bizarre procedure for food. You check in with a hostess to be seated. We had a 20 min wait even though the place was 75%empty so I guess they have a kitchen staff shortage. Once seated a waitress takes drink orders, an Erie transaction with a separate check. For food, you go to a window to order and pay then return to your table. A pager tells you when to go back and pick up your food. Then go to a separate station for utensils and condiments. Interestingly, the person taking the food order expected a tip even though she never left the register!

Love, love, love this place. April 2023, we took our food to go this time. Beechwood burger and pub fries for my husband and Beechwood burger and sweet potato fries for me. As always…DELICIOUS!!!! And, as always, the friendliest service! I think these are the best burgers I have eaten in Erie. Tried burgers at several other establishments, but have yet to find one as good.

The food was wonderful! Even though you have to place an order at the window and then pick up your food when it’s ready. The atmosphere was nice, but more for the craft beer drinkers.

Delicious food, got a burger and fries and my boyfriend got a salad with sweet potato fries. Everything was super good, I highly recommend their burgers The workers were great and they have gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options.

Their weekly appetizer house made specials are unique and amazing. This is the second Friday in a row I have met friends there for drinks and we got the pepperoni balls last week and all I can say is they are the best in town. Then tonight I got their Bacon Cheddar Jalapeno Bombs and all I can say is Wow oh Wow. It’s awesome to see a place making house made foods.
