The service was good and the food averaged out to four stars. You get a lot of value here. I ordered the rib plate with onion rings and my plate showed up at the counter with about 5 ribs on it for $11.19, ribs were good and the onion rings were even better. My wife got the chicken fried steak with one vegetable and a salad for $8.80, the chicken fried was very good as well as the salad, she picked lima beans as her veggie and they were a little bitter. They have iced tea which was good, sweet and unsweet, Delaware punch was also an option they’ve been serving since the 60’s. We’ll be back to try more goodies, I enjoyed a piece of sweet potato pie for a reasonable price.

First I would like to say Beef and Bun BBQ use to be good over 10 years ago. First the sauce changed now the chop beef is dry with no flavor. I’m not sure what is happening but the food is trash now. Only those who use to eat there years ago knows exactly what I am saying. We had a bake potato all the way with extra everything except sour cream. We didn’t want ANY sour cream. We received more sour cream than anything and the bake potato was small. Second we had a fish and shrimp plate with NO tartar sauce. Well again they didn’t listen. Plenty of tartar sauce. The fish was not good and the shrimp must have come from across the street from Foodarama grocery store. I’ve had better shrimp and fish out of the bayou. I tried calling Beef and Bun but no response. What a waste of $19.11.. Will not be going back there anymore..

I’ve been coming here since I was little, the baked potatoes with chopped beef are always amazing. The baked beans are really good as well. Today I tried something new and got onion rings, I will never be getting those again. Everything else was good tho, love this place.

I have been going here since I was in grade school. My Aunt owned a beauty shop next to it and my church is across the street from it. I tell you this place look the same as I was a little girl. The people changed slightly but the food still good. Go check it out. Their prices are reasonable.

Been eating here for 40 yrs, not because it’s the best bbq, but because it’s a trip down memory lane. For about 2 yrs now it’s really went way down hill. When the folks here talk to you they whisper with their heads down. They can not possibly move any slower, whisper any lower. They are the poorest paid people the new owner can possibly find. If you don’t believe me walk in and see for your self. I’m not going back and it makes me sad.

Beef and Bun has plenty of customers coming through the door as you sit there to eat and it’s fire a reason. Great service.
