I don’t usually make 1 star reviews and normally give a lot of grace to service workers but oh my God there are limits. I drove up to the speaker and multiple signs told me to drive up too the window. After waiting there for a bit I back up to the door and the employees are watching TV and I had to work to get their attention. They don’t accept cards so I had to go to the ATM and came back to them lost in the TV again. The can of diet coke they gave me was a year past it’s expression date and had *gone bad*. I didn’t even know that was possible! Just go to the subway, it is somehow a better experience.

The ONLY reason I took a star off was a hair in my daughter’s chicken strips. Having said that….the FOOD was good, the lady there was so nice, and we needed it badly on our road trip. Not McDonalds, not Taco Bell, but good homestyle burgers!

This place isn’t open very often, so there’s some question about to how fresh the food actually is. It’s going to give you gas and a bubbling stomach a couple hours after consumption. Having said that, I haven’t heard of anyone actually getting sick. The food does taste decent, but one must always question a hamburger restaurant that also serves tacos. Trying different ethnicities leaves the door open for absent-mindedness.

The atmosphere is nothing to write home about however, I just finished one of the best hamburgers I’ve had in many many years. Staff was very congenial. Next time I come through Springfield this is where I’m stopping to eat. You should too.

I don’t know what happened to this place. Maybe the owner is changed something. I visited here due to great review but they charged way more money than they showed on the menu and they didn’t provide receipt even though I requested for it.
