Great Beer Now
Living in the west Houston suburb of Katy often means having to get in your car and drive east for a good 20 to 30 minutes to find a suitable place for food and drink. The Katy area is growing fast, and restaurants and bars are having a tough time keeping pace with the growth and unique needs of its residents. Katy’s food and beverage scene continues to evolve and grow and a newer opening that quickly caught my attention is Beer and Grill Kitchen & Bar.

This is was a nice place to eat. The food was good and so was the service. I enjoyed the cold beer during happy hour. Nothing outstanding about this place but overall everything was good. We will go back if we are passing bye.

Great food at great prices. My husband had the pics ha bowl with steak. I got the Pincanha Bowl with the fried cassava. I’d never had cassava before so I wasn’t sure what it was going to taste like., so it’s very similar to a potato. There weren’t many people there when we went but they just opened so I’m sure word hasn’t made it around town yet. The steak was super tender and flavorful. It came with some crema and chimichurri sauces on the side, and they were excellent! My husband got the New York Strip tacos which were great. The tortilla was freshly made and everything had such a fresh taste. We missed out on their happy hour which ends at 6 but hope to try that soon.

Atmosphere was fantastic! We went to watch the baseball game (USA vs Venezuela). Great drinks, great food, and great service – what more could I want? We will be going back frequently 🙂

Incredibly delicious food, wonderful service, friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend Beer and Grill Kitchen & Bar!!! If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. I liked everything on the menu but my favorites are PICANHA BOWL and BG BURGER as well as the watermelon margarita. I will definitely come back to this place.

Place is pretty good. Food was good and servers were okay. Only issue I had was I ordered a drink during happy hour, 100% checked the time. They charged me regular price and didn’t agree it was ordered on time. It’s not the money that matters since it was only four bucks. It was the principle. They got it wrong and then don’t believe you. Either way the food was good enough for me to consider returning.
