Awesome place! You must go here. Amazing and delicious food packed full of flavor and good customer service. The dude behind the counter was super nice and funny. Staff is great. I don’t get to come here often but when I get to I never regret it. Fairly priced (economy is going through it. I understand how it be.) and good portion sizes. They give you just the right amount. Wait times vary but the food is as fresh as it gets and most of the time it’s not more than 15 minutes. GO TO BEIJING KITCHEN!!!!!!

This used to be one of my faviorte places. I wouldn’t recommend it anymore. The quality has gone down hill and they just look miserable to work there, I havnt seen a friendly greeting the past 3 times I went in. I hope they can return to the once great quality and service they had. Also check for sauces in bag before leaving.

I generally don’t leave negative reviews however after the two almost exact experiences I had about 6 months apart at this restaurant, I had to warn others. We don’t eat out often, but sometimes a break from cooking is so nice. It makes me sad that when I try for a relaxing night to eat out instead of cooking that I am then stressed and dissatisfied. So here the story goes. After calling in an order for pickup 6 months ago, being told 30 minutes and then arriving and waiting almost another hour, the food was cold and not good. We decided to try them again on Friday night. 1/20/2023.

Ordered 3 “SOFT” sweet and sour chicken. Received only ONE and it’s so rock hard my son couldn’t eat it! Ordered the dinner special for Monday. Didn’t get my egg roll or drink. Called them and told them about all the issues and they guy said he could call the lady that took the order or I could buy more and come pick it up. What is calling her going to accomplish? Of course I need to feed the rest of the kids! The lady I ordered from repeated the order back and they still messed it all up!!! Next time I’ll just go to town or palmyra

This restaurant is a nice find on the main street of Scottsville. While not directly on the menu, the staff was happy to accommodate our vegetarian request for General Tso’s tofu and broccoli with garlic sauce. Very well seasoned with plenty of sauce for the rice. The overall menu was pretty typical for a smaller mainly take out style Chinese restaurant. The food was certainly sit down quality and very nice service even through the plexiglass that’s seems to be the unfortunate norm these days. Give them a try, we will definitely be going back again!

I don’t live in the area but have seen this place when I go for my treatments at UVA. Late appt today so decided to stop and get dinner to take home. Food was high for the amount we got. I guess not what we are use too. And I ordered the hibachi chicken meal, the chicken was so dry and the veggies weren’t done. I couldn’t eat it. My daughter and husband got the another chicken meal, they said it was good.

Sesame chicken comes with more breading than chicken. I received multiple pieces of “chicken” that were literally 1.5″ diameter balls of 100% breading. Maybe they ran out of chicken today, that’s the only explanation I can come up with. The flavor was honestly OK, so it gets a bonus star for that.

With only 5 restaurants In this little town 25 minutes south of Charlottesville, I’m thankful there’s some vegan options available overall. Although I’m still pleased with Beijing Kitchen, I wish the owners would reopen the dining room that’s been walled off since the pandemic lockdown. Most people order ahead for takeout, but they kept 2 tables for 4 people to dine in or sit while waiting for their orders. A wheelchair will get in through an awkward entry door. Their extensive menu offers both single items and lunch and dinner combos and specials, including some vegetarian offerings and vegan items like Hunan Tofu…my favorite. You can opt for brown rice or white rice, their fried rice and egg rolls are obviously not vegan. There’s also some American fare, a kid’s menu, and vegans can enjoy French Fries that are prepared separately instead of the same oil with fish or chicken.

This place is one of the absolute best! The people are always nice, the food is delicious, and the portions are great for the price. I have never had a bad experience here, and will continue to give them my business as long as they are open. Highly recommend giving them your business, and make sure you tip extra well because they definitely deserve it!
