This was one of favorite restaurants in Palmdale.I went there yesterday & I ordered a combo plate with curry chicken and half ox tails,the oxtails were dry and the rice and peas tasted as if they been sitting there for awhile. I got food poisoning I started vomiting half way threw the plate. And last but not least the woman at the register has given me attitude for no reason at my last visit so I’m guessing this was done on purpose I threw the plate away

Delicious food and friendly, fast service. This is our second time here. You have to try the oxtail stew! Soooo good! I had potato salad and sauted cabbage with it. Both excellent choices. Husband had jerk chicken. Also very good. They put the jerk sauce on the side so you can control how spicey.

Ima fan of the food. This is the 1st place I ever ate authentic Jamaican food so I don’t have anything to really compare it to, the men workers are way more friendly than the women. My go to meal is the curry shrimp or chicken with stewed beans & steamed cabbage… I make my own side of white rice to add to the beans & curry sauce. very fulfilling meal

Red bean stew and rice is fabulous I had the goat curry it was decent it could used more juice or sauce I only got a little bit so I was bummed about that. The cabbage is light and fluffy not mushy but imo under seasoned but I do like a heavy seasoned hand. My son had the jerk chicken hey enjoyed it a lot I didn’t taste it wanted to have a reason to go back.

My first time having Jamaican food..could not take pictures as I ate it all…it was so hot and fresh…the goat meat was the most tender meat I’ve ever had…the jerk shrimp was huge and cooked perfectly…it is a must try for anyone near here!

I called to place my order because I was looking forward to tasting their panadas since they only serve them on Saturdays. The gentleman who answered the phone was warm, friendly and had great customer service. My son had a great conversation with the man while picking up the order. The food was everything I needed it to be! It was flavorful, colorful, and filling! We ordered the oxtail, with cabbage and rice and peas, and the combo jerk/curry chicken with potato salad and rice and peas, with 2 orders of panadas. It was all so authentic and reminded me of my dad’s and grandma’s cooking! If you love Belizean/Jamaican Cuisine like me then this is the spot for you!
