Absolutely killer brisket Cobb salad! This place has great staff and atmosphere. They also have a house made pimento cheese that’s to die for! The jalapeno pimento cheese is the best pimento cheese I’ve had. This place is one that’s worth the drive from it of town for sure!

Omg, talk about a hiding gem. This place is incredible. We Google places to eat in Chillicothe and decided on this place because open roast beef sandwiches are one of my favorites.

On a sister trip we stopped in for a quick lunch and everything was excellent. I had the special of meatloaf, the sisters had the creamy chicken with veggies, salad and spicy Mac and cheese.

I wanted to love this small business in downtown Chillicothe, but i did not. The food lacked in flavor & was really bland, not what you’d expect from a bbq restaurant. The pulled pork was dry. The brisket was dry. The green beans were nothing special. They tasted like they opened a can & threw a little diced ham & onion in but no flavor. The mac & cheese (that is a best seller) had the quality of that out of a box. It was watery & not cheesy at all. For the price, you do get big portions, but it just lacks in flavor & tender meat. I’m unsure how this is almost 5 stars. I’ve spoken to others that feel similarly, so its not because I’m being overly picky. To each their own! I wish them success, but i will not return.

What a hidden GEM!!! We ventured over there because our normal BBQ restaurant was full and wouldn’t accommodate any reservations. I called them earlier in the afternoon and they said come on down we’ll put together a table for a party of eight. Without a doubt, it’s the best brisket that I’ve ever eaten. It’s a small, intimate setting so make sure you leave time to get there early or give them a call. All the sides for reasonably priced and yummy. I will start using this as a destination.

I ordered carryout, I had never had brisket n noodles before, and they did not disappoint! I also enjoyed the kickin mac & cheese. My food was ready in about 5 minutes. They won’t do substitutions on sides.

Down home comfort food fixed like you went to Grandma’s. Food is fresh and tasty. LOVE the Mashed potatoes and brown gravy! No TVs, no annoying music that takes over the meal. Clean and cozy!

When I was a kid, my grandma made the best darn chicken and dumplings I had ever had. I swore up and down that her secret ingredient was magic, and to this day I’m convinced it’s true. Bell Farms Homestead must have access to that magic somehow, because the chicken and noodles I ordered brought me right back to that place. The rest of the food I ordered was fantastic, and the homey atmosphere was comforting like said grandma’s hugs. I’ll be back, for sure.

We drove over an hour for dinner. Always a great value – a large salad came with this meal too. Very high quality. We also had Bell Farms cater our daughters wedding this past fall. They can do it all and always with consistant high quality at a fair price.
