The pizza is wonderful the wings are top notch. Also the staff is friendly, the cooks know what they are doing, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the interior is amazing. When you walk in you can smell the delicious food and all around you see happy face’s enjoying well prepared food. While you are there, the owner will more than likely be there and visit your table and make sure everyone is doing fine. When she dose, she dose it in a way that truly shows you that your not just another pay check but a person who knows that its you that took the chance to go to her restaurant. It is certain that she cares about her customers because she see’s to it that your dinning needs are not just met but satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant for those that want quality food and quality service.

I love this place and go frequently. They have the world’s best pizza. Everything I have ever had here is good, rustic Italian, yummy and homemade. Occasionally somebody dining with me will have a meal that is NOT terrific, but that happens in any restaurant especially when they are super busy.Overall, the standard is very very high.

You know, I accidentally walked into a little cafeteria in Pittsboro that doubled as a private school lunch room. That was over 9 years ago and now she has a gorgeous little place just outside of town. I have dined with her many many times over those 9 years and never been disappointed. We have a birthday party there every year for my sister and indulge on those mega pies ( a must for the experience, kids love it). This is definitely one of my family’s place to eat

Bella Donna is moving and we are excited. We ate at the old venue which was lovely but sparse (hence only the very good for decor), it is moving to the old Pizza Hut building by the Piggly Wiggly which will be a better venue for them. The food was great, fresh, homemade and at the time we went there was free wine which was a nice touch. The owner and staff were super friendly and welcoming. I believe the new venue opens in about a week and I’m looking forward to eating there again.

We went to this place on Valentine’s Day 2018. First of all we had a long wait for our food and when our food finally came it was horrible. My pasta was clumpy, it was bland, not even seasoned, had barely any Alfredo sauce on it so that I can put it on the rest of the fettuccine and it was cold. His Lasagna that came was in a bowl and one layer and it was cold and it had a funny taste to it… (And l won’t go into the lasagna thing, so whoever made that… does not know how to make lasagna! And thats all l am saying!!) When they bought his food he had no silverware that he had asked for a half an hour prior that we never got. And no one brought out our drinks or even a snack to the table and after we got our drinks which we really needed to wash down the food (seriously)… but we ask for refill but the waitress never came back for our refill while we were eating. But she did come back with a refill as we were getting up to leave. Our plates cost an average of anywhere between $14 to $18 and it is way…way… overpriced for the horrible food. The food was so horrible tasting, very bland, dry, not seasoned and it was cold…. it was not Chef prepared quality tasting food…very poor taste and texture, their chef’s cooking ability was very much lacking.

Usually a good experience but tonight was the exception. Food was not cooked throughly, noodles were undercooked. Dish was cold. No fresh Parmesan was served. No specials were given; which I would have ordered. Couple next to us also had a bad experience and the couple across from us had a bad experience also. Off night tonight and hopefully next time will be better…4/16/16.

Last dined at Bella Donna’s on January 15, 2016. Though we had eaten here about a dozen times prior, we had not been to dinner there for almost a year. In the past the food was good. We were impressed with the quality of the food but this was back when the owner was still preparing most of the food.

I use to work in restaurants myself so I am not one that typically gets overly upset with bad service but Bella Donna was absolutely awful when it came to customer service. It took us 26 minutes to get our drinks(3 waters and 1 tea), this was after getting up and asking the server if we could help him by getting our own drinks. Our food wasn’t far behind, but when that came we had no utensils to eat with, our plates were missing ingredients when they came out, we had to ask the owner for utensils and olives that were not on the salad, the owner’s response was “is it on the menu that it comes with olives?” Clearly, the server was new and overwhelmed, by approaching the owner one would think that she sees he is struggling and help him out, nope…she couldn’t have cared less about him or us as her guest. I personally will never return.
