Bella Piatti lived up to all of my expectations. The food was great, especially the tiger shrimp and mushroom sauce dish.. that sauce will have you coming back again just in it self. Our server Carl was a gem! You could tell he loved his profession and was extremely helpful and passionate when it came to deciding what to order. I had asked for a vodka soda with added lime juice, and he brought it to me but had forgotten the lime juice. I didn’t say anything because I could tell he was very busy. About 5 minutes later, Carl came back with a side cup of lime juice. Even though he didn’t remember at first, It was so sweet of him to come back and bring it in its own little cup. We will be back.

Went there to celebrate birthday. Amazing service, beautiful ambiance, great wine selection, and most importantly delicious food. All sauces are homemade. The only challenge is to find a away to improve the ventilation system as every 20-30 minutes we had a wave of the food smell coming out of the kitchen, which is not nice to have stuck on your clothes when you leave. I will defiantly go back after lent to try their meat options.

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday. I ordered the gemmeli el pomodoro. It was really bad. It tasted like I had just opened a can of tomato paste and poured it on. I told the waitress that it was gross so she said what else would you like. I ordered the garganelli alla umbra. It was really good. When we got the bill, she didn’t take off the gemmeli el pomodoro. When we asked about it after we got our bill she just shrugged. So we paid extra for a meal that was terrible, she didn’t even say “Happy Birthday” to my daughter. Then top it off the waitress didn’t give back my husband’s credit card so we had to drive back to get it. Definitely won’t be back.

Went for date night with siblings and their spouses. A small cozy restaurant. It was very packed. We were seated immediately for a Saturday night. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. He was attentive too. The manager also came up to check on us in between which was nice. We ordered few appetizers which were really good. Out of all the entrees every one loved what I order and it was the baked chicken. It was very juicy and nicely flavored. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. Only reason I deducted a star was because of the space issue. Everything else was perfect.

This was my first time at this restaurant. I was there celebrating my birthday with family. . I can’t say enough about how pleased I was with the venue. My son picks for my birthday dinner this year, it was small but not too small very quaint. The service was very nice. The food is to die for, I order Salmone Al- Forno I really recommend this dish it is delicious. I can’t say enough about how everything was very pleasing,. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good Italian food Outstanding service, and a beautiful atmosphere. This is the place to come

Had reservations set months ago!! I e were seated right away! Amazing selection of wines and cocktails. Dinner was made to perfection, tender and juicy. I had the bronzino fish we also had a filet. They were both full of flavor explosions!! Dessert was gelato w espresso poured over. Amazing. We will be back!

Everything was so delicious! We did not have a reservation, but we were still sat quickly due to a cancelation. I would recommend making a reservation if possible. The restaurant is very small and intimate. Our server was the sweetest woman, and all of our food came quickly. I’ll be making a reservation soon to go back!

Did not care for this restaurant at all. The calamari was inedible, like rubber bands with tasteless tomato sauce on it. Salads did not have all the ingredients listed on the menu. Tomatoes would have been ripe in about a week Added protein was four bites. Waitstaff was curt. Would not return

We dropped by Bella piatti accidentally while we were touring Birmingham. We sat outside and had an amazing meal. Our server was wonderful, and took into consideration our eating restrictions and was able to twist around the menu items to make sure we got a meal we can be happy with. I really enjoyed the food . The bread and selection of toppings and butter was exquisite. Very different and we enjoyed it.

I was just here with my mom, dad, aunt, and cousin and it was delicious! I had tiger shrimp and it was so so good! My family also enjoyed their food. This place was definitely a great addition to our trip to Michigan!
