Elegance & fantastic food. Menu is extensive, and categorized to a particularly high standard. Bella Restaurant is fine dining at its best. My mother and I’s first time here, and wow were we pleasantly surprised. As you enter, a magnificent setting, a delightful marriage of well placed artwork and the luxuries of modernity welcome you. A restaurant situated near Slatersville Reservoir, a convoluted 144-acre reservoir with a number of coves. On busier evenings, for those without reservations, there is a cosy lounge to wait. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth- watering starters. The “Heirloom Tomato Salad” was so fresh, i seriously thought it was from the garden. Our next order, “Zucchini Flowers”, unbelievably delicious. For my mother’s main course, “Chicken Marsala”, sweet, and rich. Sticky, and the warmth of homemade food. Could have used more mushrooms, but that’s based on a women who loves mushrooms! For myself, “Gamberi Cardinale”. Please, just get it. You will not be disappointed!!! The owner, Giuseppe Calapai was extremely professional, courteous, and welcoming. The chef, Giovan Calapai, took great care in selecting the best quality ingredients. An outstanding team! And the service did accompany the high quality of the cooking. Makes you feel like family. I had a pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. I highly recommend going to Bella Restaurant. I will surely be back.

Went for a celebration of 50 years of marriage. No Pinot when we got there. Was told they would have some in an hour. The bartenders was great though. No reflection on her . Otherwise everything was great. They were very attentive

Long story short,ordered 2 chicken dinners from here last night. They went up to $19.00 and the portions are smaller. It’s understandable I get it, it is every where. Have been going there for years. BUT you can’t get bread and oil unless you eat there in the restaurant. I always got it before when I ordered take-out. But now you can’t get it. WHAT? Isn’t that part of the dinner for $19.00 ? They’re very expensive as it is on their food which is certainly not worth it.There in Glendale RI in not Newport or Providence. My point is you can’t get the oil and bread if you eat there but if you do eat there you have all the chicken, salad, potatoes and pasta as much as you want for the same price. But getting take out where you get 4 pcs of chicken, 1 small bowl pasta, 2 small salads (wilted) and 1 small bowl of tough beef which was disgusting and 1 small bowl of potatoes for 2 people it doesn’t make since. You can’t give bread and oil with take-out. Really ??? The bill was $41 and change. I called and spoke to the owner Giuseppe and he was so rude and hang up on me. FYI the meal isn’t worth $19.00 even without the bread and oil. I really don’t understand what people see in that place. Definitely will not be back. Done with Bella’s.

There was a limited menu for Easter so I ordered the ham dinner. I have had other dishes here that were excellent but not this one. The ham was okay but the mashed potatoes were tasteless and oily. The carrots were hardly cooked. The bread was delicious and the salad was great. We had a wonderful waiter. The atmosphere was too noisy for normal conversation.

Family-Style Prime Rib on Sundays is absolutely amazing! The prime rib melts in your mouth. You get a delicious salad with bread and oil/butter, roasted baby potatoes lightly seasoned, and penne pasta and juicy/tender prime rib. The food was great and the service was excellent.

Clean, good atmosphere and service. Flavored olive oil is always wonderful with their crusty Italian bread. Salad was a little limp, dressing good. Appetizers and Meals were served nice and hot. Large portions.

Beautiful dining experience. Food is 5 . Their drinks are fantastic. Definitely get the espresso martini. Dessert was both elegant and delicious. They also have a ballroom to handle functions. Family owned and operated. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
