Was just visiting Colonia for a one day trip recently, and my buddy (who grew up here) took me here to get some authentic Italian. As soon as I walked in, I was in awe of how well organized, clean, and assorted the selections were! I has purchased some eggplant parm and cheese balls to take home to NC as well as some expresso grounds and ladyfingers. The prices were fair and the food was absolutely delicious!! The BEST italian I’d ever had, hands down.

My finace was at this place 10:30 this morning and the older gentleman in the store DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE him at all. But when a Caucasian man walked in he greeted him for coming in the store. He was racist and disrespectful. You should greet everyone that comes into your store period. If not then you shouldn’t be running one!

Awesome place. So many great things. Tons of prepared foods and fresh made sandwiches. Small, authentic grocery section. Great service. Best stuffed long hot on Earth, if you ask my. A little pricey but by no means do you ever get short-changed. You get excellent quality and very good quantity.

I’m from Northern New Jersey and my husband had a job down that way and I was thirsty so I asked to stop for something to drink. I never wrote down the name. About 10 to 12 years later my husband asked me if this was the place and I said YES. He showed me a picture and I always remembered the front of the deli. I’m a second generation Italian in this country and the food is amazing. I left there with loads of food and I forgot to get my drink! I will never forget the name Bella Roma gourmet deli again

Awesome selection of imported Italian goods that brought me back to my childhood in Brooklyn. The guys working behind the counter are great guys who never failed to help me and actually gave me some pastries to try when I first moved to clark. It’s a bit on the pricier side but you definitely pay for what you get and here the quality is top notch.
