Stopped in for lunch with a small group on Friday. Parking is out front and we were seated right away. They offer a wide menu of Italian favorites, as well as wine and beer. Complimentary bread was brought to the table, delicious! We had the shrimp scampi, the pasta sampler, salads and soup. All were very tasty and generous portions. Also, we had the calamari appetizer which was tasty. Service was good and prompt, and the food was served hot. Overall, a good dining experience.

Food is almost always delicious but they recently took my favorite mushroom pasta dish off the menu & replaced it with a much less flavorful veggie pasta dish, hence the 4 star food rating & what would have been an overall 4.5 rating were it possible to give a half star. The service is always excellent and friendly and the dining room is pleasant enough. I would highly recommend Bella Sera to everyone as the best Italian bistro in the Leander/Cedar Park area!

Our waiter, Fabio, was quick, attentive and accommodating to requests. The food is authentic and tasty as other authentic Italian restaurants. The price is reasonable at about $35 per person for an entree, 2 beverages (tea and coffee) and dessert.

We are visiting the area and searched for an Italian restaurant nearby, and we were thrilled to discover Bella Sera. The service was fantastic and the food was amazing. We learned that it’s a family establishment, and our server shared that he had 20 years of experience in Italian restaurant service, starting in New York. He made an excellent wine recommendation, and finished us off with the perfect dessert choice. As we were gushing over the deliciousness of every dish, one member of our party did note one tiny flaw: pacing. It feels weird to complain about getting our food too quickly, but we didn’t have time to finish one course before the next one arrived at the table. Don’t let that one little faux pas keep you away though. Bella Sera is well worth a visit.

I would call it home style Italian. Decent atmosphere, relaxing but not fancy. Everything I’ve had there I’d describe as rich but not heavy. What I’ve taken home as leftovers has always kept very well, which speaks to the food quality. Not worth a special trip if you live on the other side of town, but if you’re in the area it’s a very decent choice for Italian

First time visit. Food was disappointing. I looked forward to having my favorite linguine and clam sauce. Terrible. Sauce had unusual taste…basil and a wierd tasting thickener. Pasta was mushy…they were out of al-dente. Daughter had fettuccine w/Alfredo sauce. Bland…no garlic…they never in put the Alfredo staple ingredient: garlic. Deserts were also disappointing. We took them to go: Cheesecake, chocolate cake, and lemoncello cake. They were all just small slivers for the price and not very tasty. Ended up in trash before finishing.
