So nice, we went twice. The first time, we ordered off the menu. The names I can’t say well. One was a pork tenderloin with onions in a white wine sauce. The other was tortellini with cheese cream sauce. They paired wonderfully together. The second time, we chose everything off the specials menu. A grilled portobello appetizer, chicken Risotto, and lobster ravioli with saffron cream sauce.

Amazing atmosphere; old black and white photos on the wall and lofted ceiling; friendly service; delicious Italian cuisine. Kitchen accommodated my request to alter a menu item. I’ll definitely be back soon!

We watched a video review of Salem that included this place & decided to make reservations for our vacation trip. My husband & I ate outside. We shared a karafe of wine, some bread & fresh olives/olive oil. I had the pumpkin ravioli which was very good & fresh tasting & my husband had shrimp & scallop risotto which he liked. We shared a cappuccino & classic Italian dessert that was kind of like a chocolate cream puff. Overall it was a good experience & nice atmosphere. I didn’t get a picture of the outdoor seating but it was very cute with string lights & white table cloths.

They have been voted best for a reason. The food is so delicious. They don’t have a kids menu and they just have smaller portion. The lighting is very dim, so dim we had to use a flashlight to review the menu and pricing. The prices are high! However the food is really good!

Very nice restaurant, a change of pace from the usual fare. Creative and thoughtful menu and specials, everything prepared well with ample servings. Very cozy space and atmosphere, tables are close together but it didn’t interfere with the ambience at all. Servers are welcoming. Beer and wine only but nice offerings. A fine time.

Any place that starts the meal with stale bread and olive tapenade made from canned black olives is suspect. Portion sizes were weak, the pasta from the box was bland and I don’t even think they salted the water. A bottle of San Peligrino will cost you 10$. It’s overpriced for what it is, the food is not worth the money.

Had a really great experience at Bella Verona. The food, service and atmosphere was great. Their outdoor area is so cute. Food wise I got one of the house specialties and my boyfriend got the veal Parm. He also got the fresh pasta which I highly recommend, my only qualm with it was fresh homemade pasta was an extra $7 dollars. They don’t even charge that much in Bostons North end for the homemade pasta. Nonetheless the food was really great. They give you a complimentary bread basket with this amazing olive tapinade at the beginning of the meal and I could not stop eating it. And the wine somehow tasted better like I was in Italy. Definitely give this place a try you won’t regret it!

This was by far the best Italian restaurant we been too. We are from NYC and we loved it here. Very attentive and friendly staff. The best tiramisu by Tito ever!! I had the spinach ravioli and it was so fresh. My husband had the linguini with shrimp and scallops it was so rich and fresh. Definitely recommend.

This quaint little Italian restaurant is the best Italian food I’ve had in a long time! It’s better then what I’ve had in Brooklyn and little Italy in Manhattan. As I’ve been all over Italy as well, this is the closest quaity I’ve found so far! The service is unparalleled and the prices are great!

Wonderful place to wait out a summer thunderstorm. It was definitely hot, they don’t have air conditioning, but other than that it was really enjoyable. They serve olive tapenade and Italian bread before the meal and the food itself was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive and it was a really nice experience.
