I’m originally from Upstate NY, and I know what great pizza and Italian food is all about. I’ve eaten here several times, and it’s always AMAZING, SERIOUSLY AMAZING. Tonight the power was off at my house, no AC and no way to cook food. So I said BET, I’ll drive over to Bellagio’s NY Pizzeria for a bite.

We love the pizza; but have rarely been treated so poorly. They close at 8pm on the weekend. At 7:15 they start putting up the chairs inside. They bring the pizza in a to-go box; lock the door and turn off some of the lights at 8pm. Customer hospitality also apparently ends at 8pm. If they’re going to accept a fine in order at 7:15, they shouldn’t be pushing people out the door at closing. Closing does not mean all patrons must be done and gone.

As a native New Yorker, my standards for NY Style pizza are high. This place is relatively new so they’re probably working out the kinks. Friendly workers make the experience a breeze. They have a lunch special for $6.99. It includes 2 slices and a drink. Good value. They use fresh ingredients which I absolutely love! You taste the difference. But the NY flavor just wasn’t there. Their marinara is far too sweet. I got a cheese slice and a grandma slice. Both were good but didn’t remind my tastebuds of my life in the north. Either way it’s a cool spot to check out.

Food is very delicious, a must try. If it was near me, I wouldn’t order papa johns, pizza hut, marcos, and little ceasars anymore. They were busy, non stop customers but worked very efficiently.

Bellagio’s is a refreshing local approach to the overpriced local pizza places. Many claim to be authentic New York style pizza, but to hold this title you need to make it right ( every single time ). BELLAGIO’S gives you all the flavor without the attitude of the frenshiser. We tried 3 of the pizza flavors and all of them were delicious!! True N.Y. pizza here! Big n floppy n just the right amount of crispy. And they have a lunch special during the week 2 slices + drink for $6.99. Not a bad deal. The cheesecake was good and the canoli well .. Im not really a fan of hard canoli so i can’t say.
