The restaurant itself is romantic and open, with lovely art. The food was FANTASTIC, the best pizza I’ve ever had and made completely from scratch with top notch ingredients. Their onion marmalade is magnificent! The little details were so wonderful and on point. The price is what you would expect for fine dining and the quality you get. Would definitely treat myself to this place again ♡

We were staying nearby and after a long drive, this place was the shortest walk from our hotel. We had pizzas, drinks, and a dessert and they were all excellent!

First time not getting pizza, and while the entrees were good, for the cost of the dinner, not that great. The owner is lovely (We have been there three times in the last two years),but we cannot understand why she cannot get the service aspect right. Seating is slow. Bringing drinks can be slow (We have no complaints about the amount of time the food takes because it is made from scratch). I do mind salad plates not being cleared. A food runner with zero personality (I am sure he is a nice kid). The dessert menu being placed on the table while still eating. And looking at dirty tables for more than fifteen minutes.

The restaurant was hotter inside than the July day was outside.

We got there before the dinner rush, and they basically sat us and then forgot about us. The cost of the food wasn’t worth it. The bread pudding had too much alcohol, which overpowered the flavors and the pudding itself wasn’t impressive. Worst of all, we practically had to hunt down servers every time we needed anything and it took ages to get our food. The bread at the beginning was hard and no one wanted to eat it. Overall, very disappointing at the price.

The concept is great. Execution and service was poor. I ordered the bolognese and it tasted like creamy Campbell’s tomato soup on top of noodles. We had to literally hunt down our waiter to pay I’m hoping it was an off night. Regardless, we won’t be going back.

It’s really a shame that a once nice restaurant has deteriorated to what it is today. This place actually won a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2012. We were last there two years ago. At the front door there were well over 100 milk crates full of crusty, empty wine bottles. I suppose we should have taken that as a warning. We ate there the first week of June, outside temp was 92 degrees and we ate on the patio because it was literally cooler than inside. A local informed us that the a/c was also not working last summer. Not good for southern NM in the summer. Patio was dirty and sticky, had to step over garden hoses on the way to the table. The Portabella alla Parmigiana lacked the artichoke stuffing. Service was slow and poor, waitress was pleasant enough except when yelling at staff.

Amazing food and t or c needs it! BUT be prepared to wait for service. They really do not have enough wait staff for the size of the restaurant. Waited over 10 minutes to be seated. Waited over 15 minutes for menus after seating ourselves. Tried flagging down 1 of the 2 wait staff there multiple times. They seem to go into a back room wait station and not come out for a while. Overall good wine, beer and food selections, just need to fix service issues.

Wanted to have a family dinner here, but it was a disaster of an evening. The food has been great in the past, but this trip we didn’t even get the chance. The restaurant had quite a few tables seated, but by all means was it packed. We waited to be seated for over 25 minutes, with many table clearly open. No one even came to greet us or tell us it would be a minute. After finally getting a table, no one came to take even drink orders for another 15 minutes. By then, our table of eight got up and walked out. They lost out on some money that night.

Very friendly staff, but the food here is not worth the prices that the restaurant charges. We had the Space-Portabellas for an appetizer. The menu describes the mushrooms to be tempura battered and fried. The batter was very dense and was much like beer-battered instead. They were also slightly on the burnt side.
