HURUDZA RED BLEND STELLENBOSCH 2020
This graceful wine is a true reflection of Stellenbosch terroir. The grapes are hand harvested in the early mornings and transported to the cellar where only the best grapes are sorted and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is gently pumped over twice daily until dry, and pressed thereafter. Malolactic fermentation occurs in tank, and after completion, the wine is racked of its lees and transferred to a
selection of new-, second-, and third-fill barrels. After 18 months of ageing in barrel, the wine is carefully blended and bottled.

SONDAGSKLOOF SAUVINGON BLANC 2020
Aromas of melon and passion fruit, fynbos and buchu, with citrus undertones. The Sondagskloof region, which forms part of the Cape South Coast lends a beautiful minerality. The wine also has a real presence on the palate in terms of texture. Should open up nicely – trust the 2nd glass you’ll have of this. Complements seafood, sushi, pasta, chicken and veal dishes.

CHENIN BLANC BREEDEKLOOF 2021
Chenin blanc from the Breedekloof Valley where fruit purity and freshness are always ever present. This wine is a combination of 2 vineyards – the first, 380m above sea level, dry land farmed and the other 38 years old and in great balance at that age of the vine. 20% of the wine spent 6 months in large oak casks (Foudres) and 80% in a combination of stainless and concrete. In total the wine spent the total maturation time of 7 months on its’ gross lees which adds plenty of complexity on the palate.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON WESTERN CAPE 2021
This Cabernet Sauvignon shows beautiful red berry fruit flavours. The aim is to produce an attractive nose that lures you in and then over-deliver on the palate where drinkability is key. Classic Cab meets smashable drinkability.

CINSAULT ROSÉ SLANGHOEK 2021
Made from vineyards planted in sandstone soils with a high clay presence which adds the concentration to otherwise a light and pretty Rose wine. In the cellar there was only a couple of hours of skin contact in the press and from there the juice underwent extended cold settling and cold fermentation. After fermentation the wine spent 2,5 months on the lees before bottling.

Interesting fact: a drop of Colombar was added at juice stage to add some freshness and zip on the aftertaste.

This is one of the best restaurants in the Detroit area. It’s expensive, but well worth it. I have been several times, this weekend was their 3rd anniversary so they had an all you can eat BBQ event.. it was unreal, as usual. I’m not going to review every item, it was all insanely delicious. The desert was a berry infused whipped cream with what appeared to be corn bread which isn’t usually what I’d go for but it was mind blowing. Service here is always the best, everyone is very friendly, and the food is art. Just go.

This restaurant is my favorite hidden gem. I tell anyone who will listen to eat here, because I believe it is worth the hype and will give anyone who tries it a great experience. I have frequented Bellflower over the last few months, and every time I get dinner here the service & food is high quality and exceptional. The daily menu changes, seasonal ingredients, and friendly staff will always want you coming back for more. Bellflower has taken classic dishes and comfort food to a whole new level, and every dish I’ve had has made me feel love after first bite. The cocktails & bartenders are also amazing, and their drink pairings with meals are always a go-to if you are unsure of what to get. Drinks, fish, curries, pasta, holiday foods, brunch, you name it, all deserve a 5 star review from here. Can’t wait to go back again!

So I love that the chef creates the menu daily and it’s never the same. Such a cool concept. For me, I personally didn’t like the food. I felt it did not have much flavor. It’s not kid friendly – I ordered chicken sausage and a toast for my 3 year old. Husband didn’t love his plate. It wasn’t crowded but we had to sit outside in the sun- just urgh! I would make a reservation if your choosing to dine here.

This is a great spot for a meal with friends! They have a daily menu so it’s different every time and I got the bass which was pretty good. It was pretty loud in there so difficult to hear my friends but overall a good time in a cool spot. Right across from the bus depo.

The cocktails were unique and delicious and my meal was excellent! I got the pork chops and grits and it was perfectly crispy. We sat at the bar and the chairs were comfortable and service was friendly and consistent. Must go back as it looks like the menu changes frequently!

Absolutely stunning dinner and drinks. The main dishes my husband and I ordered both were so thoughtfully created. Very fresh ingredients and the flavors were all perfectly made for each other! Also, the Pineapple Dandy mocktail was beautiful and refreshing. Had a lovely time. Will certainly be back.

Drinks here are good and are fairly priced. Our server was awesome and was pretty knowledgeable of the food and drinks and had great recommendations. The food menu is pretty interesting. It was a little pricey but it tasted good. I just wished the food came on bigger plates as it was difficult to eat off a small stacked plate without leaving a mess.

Yummy!!! Delicious food with generous portions! Both dishes had more food than expected, and we took some of it to go. All really tasty. Great value! Had the Calamarata Pasta and Sweet & Sour Hock. Looks like they change up the menu daily so definitely coming back when I’m back in town
