It takes a lot to wow me, but Bellini’s did just that. I ordered a build-ur-own salmon bowl and it was amazing. Everything fresh and delicious. And the salmon was better than any you would find in a high end seafood restaurant. Perfectly cooked, perfectly fresh. From talking to staff after my meal it is clear why; Bellini’s orders fresh caught whole salmon, prepares and fillets the fish in-house – it’s the best you’ll ever have. All the other menu items looked equally good. If you have the opportunity to stop in, I would suggest you give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!!

They charge $2 for chicken cutlets when you get a small bowl which is normal. BUT if you want to get an extra chicken they put the same amount of the chicken and charge you an extra $4. RIDICULOUS! Also on doordash, they have the same trap for customers firstly they ask for an extra protein options because nobody gives attention and they charge you more!

I love getting my salad here, but the last two times I have gone to this location (6 months apart), I have been disappointed with my order. I order online because I’m usually passing through the area. My protein of choice is chicken cutlets, and sometimes I order extra. Today, and the last time I ordered, I found grilled chicken in my salad, making me completely insane. I did not order grilled chicken AT ALL. Why then am I finding it in my food??? I do not like grilled chicken and it ruins the taste of my salad. Also, I had ordered my dressing ON THE SIDE, because I had a 30+ minute drive back to my house. The dressing was not on the side, it was on the salad. I had also ordered extra dressing, which was not included and I had to go back inside to get it. I would have had them completely remake my order when I noticed the dressing was not on the side, but I had to get back from my lunch by a certain time. I did not know there was grilled chicken in my salad until I drove 30 minutes back to my house. I am extremely frustrated with the New Scotland Ave, Albany location for screwing up my last two orders. I would give them two stars, but I love my CORRECT salad bowl enough to give them three.

Don’t waste your time here. Apparently they don’t care about the quality of there food when it goes out the door. We ordered there signature dish the Fredo and it had no fredo sauce. Just pesto and alot of greesy oil. The bread sticks were the size of a pretzel and almost as hard. The Stuyvesant plaza store is much better.
