Lucked upon the Belmont Pizza and Pub while driving through Charlottesville. The artichoke dip is divine and the absolute best I have ever tasted! We thought we hit the jackpot there, but then came the pepperoni pizza… yep ‘just” a pepperoni pizza, and it was also delicious! They use real cheeses the flavors are fresh and rich and we truly wished we lived here so we could return again and again! Our waitress was on the ball and hustled to take care of customers the entire time we were here. The food came fast and hot and she kept our drinks refreshed without us needing to ask. The atmosphere is fun and energetic. Also very inclusive with all types of people… from college age folks to families with children two couples and join a dinner together, and everyone was having fun. We are pretty picky when it comes to food being prepared and served the right way and the Belmont nailed it. We would definitely recommend and will come back the next time we’re coming through town.

Always wanted to stop for lunch but never in the area around lunch time ( actually I ate lunch at 3 pm so a little bit late) great little place, walked In , waitress told me to take a seat, brought me a menu over , got my drink order( just water) wasn’t very crowded ( it was after the lunch rush I’m guessing) I ordered the calzone with ham, a cheese calzone was $8, add a $1 for ham( or any topping) and in no time at all . They had it out to me , yea , might look a little burnt on top, but boy was it good, and big too, will definitely be back if I’m in the area, and guess what my bill was only $10.12 for a water and that large calzone ( I actually didn’t finish it all) I was stuffed. Highly recommend this restaurant

We went to dinner here and the pizza had no flavor. The waitress would not give us some ranch when we asked because we already had some. We ate outside and we had a big party and when we stated we were go to take up all the tables she said ‘wow really’ with a snooty attitude. One of the cooks came out and leaned on my mother’s car. Dirty and full of cigarettes. Waitress’ we’re outside smoking when we pulled up and gave us dirty looks from the start. (Great playlist though)

Decent margherita pizza, though i prefer when there are dollops of mozzarella, and could’ve used a little more basil, i did very much like the sauce however. The jerk chicken wings were really good too.

First time eating here, my mom was saying the food was super good so we figured we would try it. Got garlic knots and they were RAW. Like literally raw dough in the center only cooked on the outside. Lady said the owner was out of town but the chef told her that they ALWAYS serve them that way. I’m not sure I would have suggested I serve raw dough to my customers all the time. (My mom said she gets them often and they are never like this). She said she didn’t think that was correct and took it off of our tab which was nice. Grandma got a sandwich and asked for no bacon because she’s allergic, chef didn’t listen and loaded it up with bacon. The pizza was good my mom and I ordered. Was cooked really nicely and tasted as good as hoped. Overall though as most of our food was unsafe for consumption and the chef seemed adamant it should be that way giving 2 stars. I think I will revisit again in the future and try again just because I think it has potential to be better. Maybe when the owners back

Great staff and they are dining in!! A lot of places are closed on Mondays, but they are open!!! Plus, yummy pizza, good rock music playing at a decent volume, and a cold beer for dinner. This was our first visit, and we will be coming back soon.
