We have come here a few times, its a great place owned by a very nice and humble family. The food is delicious!. They have the best tacos (Birria Tacos, Alpastor Taco, Carnitas Taco, Asada Taco, Tripas Taco, Barbacoa Taco), Papas a la Arrachera, Street Corn, Menudo, drinks and vegetarian tacos that I enjoyed even that I’m not a vegetarian but I love the veggie taco because it comes with nopalito (cactus).

The birria tacos are some of the best in the state. Hands down some of the best tacos I’ve had, and the waitresses and front of house were top-notch. Stop reading this review and go grab some tacos from Beltrans it’s worth the stop.

Don’t even waste your time and money going here if you want flavorful Mexican food.. My husband and I love the food at the Beltran’s Meat Market on Washington and ventured here hoping for a positive experience. We had an experience, can’t say it was positive. Its not even close to Beltrans Meat Market. Only positive experience was a heavy pour on a margarita. Here’s the negatives 1. They charge for chips and salsa 2. Nachicharrones were so hard that they almost broke my husband’s tooth. He was in so much pain it took 10 minutes for him to even consider taking another bite. Half of the nachicharrones were not edible due to being too hard. There also was hardly any flavor so he had to ask for cholula sauce. (Picture provided) 3. Mother in law had the chili relleno plate- no cheese in the relleno, the rellenos were not cooked all the way (literally raw batter) and lacked flavor. (Picture provided) 4. I ate the bean burrito-completely flavorless. They don’t offer red chili! Green chili has no heat or flavor. It’s sad really! We left hungry. We won’t be back.. MAJOR disappointment

We have eaten here a few times and I think we are going to keep searching for good Mexican food in the area after our last visit here. The staff was very nice and attentive, but the food was disappointing. They charge for chips and salsa, and we got guacamole that kind of tasted old…I think they make it themselves, just not sure how fresh it was. The chips were really hard and tasted a bit stale. The salsa does have good flavor though. They also serve you a bottle of slightly warmer than room temp water for the table…call me what you want, but where’s the ice water? Strange.

I love this place! Amazing tacos, drinks, and apps. They aren’t afraid of less common ingredients like tongue, tripe, and octopus in the tacos. And they use these ingredients super well! For apps, I can’t recommend the elote (Mexican street corn) enough! All the beer and margs I’ve had here have been great too. Highly recommend!

The food is extremely bland. There’s a pinch of shredded cheese thrown on top of the green chile queso, which was more like a soup with chips on the side. The arrachera was completely unseasoned, and the shrimp was chewy. At almost $5 a taco, it’s definitely not worth it.

Best tacos in the area, killer margs, great bartenders and wait service, cool interior, welcoming vibes. We go here a few times a month for the last year or so and have never been disappointed. Mike & Trenton are the best!
