I LOVE bagels! This was my first time at a designated bagel shop and I was so excited! The woman who took my order was so kind and patient and suggested the avocado bagel and it was so amazing!

We’ve been going to Benchwarmer’s since they opened up several years ago, and it is one of our favorite spots in Raleigh!

Overall, pretty good. Got a bacon egg and cheese on a toasted everything. The bagel was very soft and wet despite being toasted. The bacon was crispy and delicious with excellent flavor. The eggs were good flavor, but the choice to use Duke’s Mayo was a little weird and probably what made the whole thing so wet. The chai latte was very weak and watery I wouldn’t recommend it. Unfortunately we went on a Sunday morning and their online ordering system wouldn’t let us order ahead so we waited in a very long line. The staff was good about moving the line quickly, but the bagels weren’t good enough that I’d really want to wait in a long line for them ever again.

Best bagels in raleigh! Only reason for lower score is their online platform. Every time I order ahead for pickup it’s not ready when they say it will be. Between 20-50 min after the “pickup” time. Why have online ordering if it’s faster to wait in a long line and get it before the order I placed hours previously? Just turn off your online system….

Tried the pizza on a Saturday night. It was ok, we could not detect any sauce which made it too dry. The cup and char pepperoni was good and plentiful. We got leftovers and I will need to get some sauce to top it. With tax and a tip, $35 for a pizza is just too much. Jet’s Detroit-style pizza is better and less than half the cost.

Hands down the best bagels in Raleigh and probably the best outside of the Northeast. They have all sorts of bagels and bagel sandwiches from the traditional to the exotic. Make sure to try the cardamon rolls. They also have pizza nights on Friday and Saturday but call ahead because they sell out!

Total hidden gem. Best bagels in town. If you haven’t tried their cardamom buns, their bw chai, their flash cold brew, or their bagel chips. I keep finding new things to love and they always have amazing seasonal flavors too. All this and their pizza is really good too.
