May 2020 = New ownership! Located just 4 miles north of downtown Monroe, WI. Locally raised, half-pound charbroiled burgers. Handmade pizzas. Homemade deep-fried cheese curds. Friday Fish Fry with Icelandic Haddock, Walleye and colossal-sized shrimp (we have Swiss-style Rösti potatoes). Prime Rib special every other Sunday. Upstairs banquet/event hall with a wheelchair ramp, private bathrooms, outdoor patio, and available full bar. We have a LARGE parking lot. Bikers welcome!

Food was EXCELLENT! I had the chicken alfredo pizza (with toppings and cheese all the way to the edge!) So good. The husband had the ribeye sandwich and sweet potato fries. The sandwich was great and fries delicious! Crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. They had a great honey mustard to dip in. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Giving a 1-STAR rating wouldn’t be quite low enough. We heard this was a great place for their Fish-Fry and was really looking forward to it. We got there around 6:00. It took about 15 minutes to get a table which is chaotic in itself. You just need to watch for a table to open up and grab it without knowing who was next in line, though everyone handled that well. We then helped clear the table and the server finished up. From there it was over 30 minutes where we had no contact from anyone. There were at least 3 tables that came in after us that had their orders taken and 2 of those had salads delivered to them. Still, no one came to our table. I do want to point out the server was very pleasant, but I have to assume very overwhelmed. It was just disappointing to be ignored for that long. After waiting for those 30+ minutes at the table, we just got up and left. My friend had left his phone on the table and had to go back into to get it. Even then, no one asked why we had left. I’m hoping this is an isolated case as I have to assume the food is good. Maybe we’ll try it in the future.
