I believe 5 stars isn’t enough to explain how great this place is. I had the officer Steve special adios mio!!!!! I believe this is the best breakfast spot on long island(Queens and Brooklyn included) and possibly the state. It was cooked and season perfectly. The other food I saw customers eating looked delicious to. I was tempted to ask if I can try some of there plate but they brought my food out and I was shocked to see it. Very very delicious food and service was fast and efficient. And the price was just as great as the food.

This was the BEST breakfast I ever had. 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, fries and grits! The staff was very friendly and the service was fast and mindful. Would definitely go again. Authentic soul food at a great price.

The food here was absolutely delicious. I ordered the ribs, Mac and cheese and collard greens. The ribs were tender which is the first thing I look for. The sides were both flavorful. My only wish is that they put more food into the platter. My wife had the barbecue chicken which is 3 pcs now instead of 4. The yams she ordered were very good and the barbecue chicken also tasted good. The wait was about 15-20 minutes and the price seemed fair. I would highly recommend going here if you are looking for a good soul food spot in Long Island.

The food was amazing! I had the OB caveman deluxe and my gf had the officer Steve. When I tell you everything was good. EVERYTHING! It was definitely a soul food spot and I will order again. The French toast doesn’t even need syrup that’s how good they were. Can’t wait to order again.

Idk I’m a supporter of underdogs and the independent. Was put on hold for a very long time when I called until after more 10 I hung up. Gave a while and called back. My order had issues “yet” I believe in accuracy. I can’t fully say it’s their fault. It was delivered and we all see reports on how uber eat and door dash drivers leave things or eat or drink things when a person doesnt tip as well as they wanted… So the missing tea and food item could have been due to that. “Possibly” yet when I called back to let them know of missing items as well as fact that I was still going to give them a good review I was just notifying them of the missing items. I got a nasty attitude initially.. That alone…. When your about to say nah dont worry just be cautious. Ticked me off. Then I ate the food and … I regret ordering the cat fish. It’s meat was soggy and seemed water logged. Grits were disgusting and a weird creamy. The salad was good tho I got no dressing I requested balsamic and got nothing. Large Tea was missing yet the rest of the order was mostly decent
