Was blessed to come upon Ben’s Backdraft Barbecue food truck at Highland Brewery. Boy, was I in for a treat. A rather unassuming red food truck delivered a dynamite pulled pork BBQ sandwich and LITERALLY THE BEST LOADED POTATO SALAD MY WIFE AND I HAVE EVER HAD. If you do not get this as a side, you have made a grave mistake.

Best BBQ in the area for sure. Real wood-smoked BBQ. So glad we passed this food truck on the way back from the Smoky Mountain NP. We’ve tried a few other places in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area before this and those places sucked (even though they had good reviews on Yelp/Google). We had the ribs here and they were *phenomenal*. The sides were top notch too. Try the potato salad – you won’t be disappointed! Great sauces. All around worth a trip. Apparently they travel around the TN/NC area.

So gooood!! I had their beef ribs!! Highly recommend! The dry rub on the ribs was phenomenal!! I also had their smoked chicken, baked beans & potato salad…yeah- my eyes were bigger than my stomach!! I’d do it all again!!! Can’t believe I didn’t take any pictures!!!
