Adorable diner, complete with friendly, funny “snappy” service! I loved all 3 of the ladies running the place. Since I showed up a few minutes before closing time I just grabbed a few things “to go” and it was delicious!! The cream of mushroom soup is one of best I’ve ever had, and the thick hand cut french fries were excellent!! They even gave me a couple of the homemade potato chips to taste, which were excellent as well. I’m coming back soon!!

Was going to dine in like I always do. Sat at the counter for 12 minutes. No acknowledgment. A group of three set at the counter about 5 or 6 minutes. He went to them first. I still have not been acknowledged. I told the waitress on my way out I was sitting at the other end of the counter way before this group. I told her I was fairly regular and said I wouldn’t be back. She either said I don’t care or oh well. I was completely dumbfounded. I always ordered the white fish sandwich with a side of cocktail sauce. You always made it for me. I usually enjoy the piece of pie afterwards. Good luck with employees like that around. PS I’ve been coming up here for 23 years and always went to Bentley’s. Cream of rutabaga on Tuesday was my favorite.

One of the worst small diner experiences I have ever had. Everything was bad from the service to our food. We got seated and waited almost an hour for 2 entrees. Multiple parties were served before us while we waited and our waitress had only checked in on us once. Our table was gross and I had the pleasure of sitting in some sort of hashbrown leftovers from the previous party. The food finally came out and it was extremely underwhelming. Just a bunch of warmed up ingredients thrown together and put on a plate/skillet. My bacon was a sloppy wet mess and they make no accommodations for removal of ingredients, even if you’re allergic. The waitress said the chef would “yell at her” if she asked to remove onions from my skillet. The atmosphere was also insufferable. It was very hot in there.

Really good food at a great price. My advice is if u plan on going here, go early or u will be waiting awhile. I was fortunate to get there right after they opened and quickly after we got seated the place filled up. Some people ended up not waiting long and leaving. There was only one waitress. She was very fast and efficient. Again, this place is smaller. But the food is very good and at a great price. The place has a 50’s feel to it and a blast from the past.

Quaint and lovely! Friendly small family diner with tasty and reasonably priced meals. Came here with my family while on vacation and we were happy to have stopped in here! The breakfast came out quick and the eggs were done perfect. Had a piece of cherry pie to treat myself since folks in the shop were raving about the pies and was not disappointed! Super tasty homemade pies!

Very cute interior and the staff is extremely warm and welcoming, within minutes it felt like my partner and I were regulars in this adorable diner. The food was fantastic, especially the breakfast special. Would happily dine here again!

We missed another popular place by 15 minutes, But this place was around the way a bit,, & these nice people were open til 2. We walked in at like 1:40. The service was great! [We left the car parked and walked along the main street, up to the Marina.]

Beyond disappointing. My family has eaten here for years and the new owners have ruined it…nothing is the same except the malts. Food was terrible…hand cut fries replaced with greesy frozen fries, homemade burgers replaced with frozen grey thin patty, whitefish nothing of the past. Sad sad day for this family who have been eating there for 7 decades.
