I walked in and it was dead, the humidity in the restaurant hit you right when you walked in. It was very hot and very wet feeling in the atmosphere. The sushi looks nothing like what I ordered and the color of the fish looks questionable it’s grey. I took it out and ate the rest. I don’t like wasting food and I can’t afford to waste. I wouldn’t recommend eating here. I’m debating on whether finishing or throwing it away. I have not gotten sick yet, but I wouldn’t doubt if I did.

This place has hit rock bottom. It used to be my favorite spot in Gainesville. Food quality has taken a nose dive and prices have skyrocketed. Staff is unfriendly and their lack of care really shows.

The AC has been broken for 3 months! These poor workers! I feel so bad for them. Writing this review in hopes that their leadership sees this and take action. My family is 6 was sweating eating dinner in here. We have been coming to this bento for 15 years, it’s sad to see how much it’s gone down hill since becoming a franchise.

So I used to like bentos, but the last couple times at this one were terrible. I got a bento box with old, hard noodles and rice. Like they made a huge quantity hours earlier and were using that. Plus what I normally get for $20 meal was significantly less compared previous occasions.

Ordered from here through Uber eats last night, had food poisoning and spent the night in the bathroom. It was the second time I have food poisoning in 38 years so am sure that’s what it was and not something else. I should have read the reviews before placing an order.

I was very disappointed with the Sushi we received at Bento. I was looking for a quality place and the Bento in Royal Park Plaza was recommended. While I’m all for anyone learning to prepare different cuisines; Sushi is NOT one of them. It takes many years perfecting this skill. Never should there be a young American woman, or man, preparing this for customers. Practice at home! The ingredient to rice ratio was totally wrong. And so was the size, 2 were California rolls and 2 were Tuna with Avocado, Cucumbers, and Cream cheese – 8 pieces per container(see photos). I will never go again, nor recommend. Extremely disappointed. I could have gone to Publix where it is so much better.
