Me and my friend dined in for lunch and got hibachi steak with noodles and a shrimp tempura box. The noodles were like sweet spaghetti noodles with little sauce. The teriyaki sauce looked suspicious. The rice under the shrimp in the box was mushy. Sushi was okay but we only had California rolls.

I had a terrible experience. My steak was bland and tasteless. We had to pay $1 for soy sauce because we did not want white sauce, and they were really rude. I will not be back.

Great little spot. Do not be fooled by the outer appearance, the food was very good and came out quick. I got a bento box with chicken, which was more than enough food and quite a bit of rice. Girlfriend got sushi. Friendly service. Would definitely come back again!

The roll I ordered was obviously made days (week?) before. The Bento box did not have vegetables as described. Canned carrots in Japanese food?? Every item had tons of sugar. YUK! Don’t waste your money like me!

Bento Boys is basically Joy of Tokyo but local and better in every way. Like price, quality, quantity, service, etc. They’re pretty goated for me takeout hibachi-wise. If you’re gonna dine-in, get the bento instead, cause you’re not gonna get that typical show.

I highly recommend Bento Boys! Our waiter was very polite, welcoming, and just all around great! There wasn’t a long wait for our sushi and the presentation of each roll was creative and fun! I have to say this was some of the best sushi I’ve had in Greenville!! I was so impressed and so glad we decided to give this place a try!! Can’t wait to go back again!! I counted 7 of the tiniest pieces of chicken in my bento. The actual food they did put in was disgusting. Dry chicken and burnt rice. Of all of the Japanese places I’ve tried around Greenville, this was the worst.

My wife took me here for lunch today, it was my first time dining here and she promised me I’d love…. She didn’t lie and Bento Boys don’t disappoint! I had a traditional bento box (pictured) and my wife had the Mama roll, both of these dishes were “off the chain” delicious and great portion sizes! The staff is so pleasant as well as helpful to explain menu. PRICES ARE SUPER REASONABLE!!

First time stopping by. The food was definitely quality of the big chain Hibachi places if not better. The hibachi meals come with soup and veggies a d whatever meat you choose. The sushi was delicious also. The one shown is Salmon Teriyaki Roll. I definitely recommend this place, especially because its locally owned. The folks were friendly and fast!
