I would not recommend eating here. I expected this place to be similar in quality to other commercial Italian restaurants such as olive garden. Food quality is significantly lacking. We had pizzas and salads. Vegetables in my salad and on my pizza tasted as if they had recently been defrosted in a microwave. Vegetables in the salad were still slightly frozen. Only fresh ingredient was the lettuce. Pizza reminded me of a $5 thin crust oven pizza. The prices do not reflect the quality of the food. The atmosphere and service are the only good things about this place. Plenty of other good options in the area. Frankly, you could probably find better quality in the mall food court and wouldn’t be charged nearly as much.

Where do I start? I’m so disappointed in this place. I don’t even understand how they are still open. The staff was hanging around the bar like they were the customers. I ordered crab cakes and bit into an ice cube it was so cold and tasted freezer burned. They then tried to remake them and the same thing cold. I also ordered the calamari and it was also cold. When I bite into it I thought they accidentally fried a rubber band. The color of the calamari ring was pink and tasted fishy. They must not get enough customers to cook anything fresh. You can get better food from the freezer section at the grocery store. Don’t waste you money here.

Choices are limited in Greece – so 4 stars might be a touch generous but honestly the food is pretty good, the atmosphere is nice, and the restaurant is clean and seems well managed. Yes the Italian restaurants on the east side and the city are better but Greece has nothing so I’m giving 4 stars. Portion size is good and I’ve never been disappointed. Parking is crummy and there is no direct entrance from inside the mall.

It had been about eight years since I’ve eaten at Benucci’s so I wasn’t sure if it would still be as good as it used to be. I was happily surprised that it was! My pasta dish (Shrimp Rosa) was hot and delicious, my dessert (caramel creme brulee) was perfect and the staff provided excellent customer service.

Main dish came out with very tough chicken…the waiter was great and responsive to have them make me new cutlets but by the time they came back my wife was half done with her meal(obviously wanted her to eat a her hot meal)No other restitution was offered and I wasn’t going to make scene about it. They kinda failed me at a nice dinner out. Figured this review would explain it easy enough. There are many better Italian options out there in Rochester to bother going back.

Great place, great tasty food. Greece needs more places like this. We come here halfway often and every time it’s been a 5/5. Service is always great. I am not understanding why it never any busier, even on Friday and Saturday nights, which is a little concerning that it may not last long here for the west side clientele.
