When we visit Shreveport we always stop by bergerons and get us boudin balls and they had a wrap which tasted like a Cajun egg roll with boudin in it. It never disappoints, just wish they them in Dallas.

The cracklings are always so good! I had a craving for some and I left with a few more things than I anticipated. The pepper jack boudin balls were amazing. The chicken cracklings were seasoned perfectly. I will definitely be back for more!

I’m originally, from Eunice, La. Which means I love me some Boudin. So my husband & I traveled from Tx and of course we couldn’t leave Shreveport w/o stopping for our comfort fixings. Cracklins, (which were warm) & at least 6 frozen packs of boudin. 4- regular, 1-smoked, 1-spicy. Got home excited to eat boudin. Only to be sooo dissatisfied. With the regular boudin, it’s TONS of some type of shredded meat which is terrible! You can’t taste the rice at all. Which make the boudin super dry! It’s like a meat boudin to me. & let’s talk about the spicy boudin, which is horrible from the flavor, to the texture which again has chunks of some type of chicken I guess. So I just decided to give away all 6 packs of boudin cause at that point they were all headed for the trash. Me personally, where I’m from I’m used to ground beef , ground pork, in boudin not shredded chunks of dry meat. But on a good note I did get a pack of frozen boudin balls, which tastes totally different from their boudin. Next time, I’ll just drive a little deeper in Louisiana to get me good fixings of Boudin.

I drive by here every day and haven’t stopped in since they have dine-in service. We stopped in today for lunch and wow! It was great. Pepper Jack Boudin, 1/2 rack of Ribs and Gumbo. All of it was delicious. I will be back. Stop in and be surprised as well!

Were passing through on our way from Arizona to Georgia, to visit family. We have been here before….military. I was super excited that our route took us through Shreveport….made it a point to stop in for some goodies. Will do everytime we are thru that area. We got the fried chicken skins, boudin balls (with and without pepperjack), boudin links and a couple of meat pies.

If you are in Shreveport/Bossier city, you have to visit here! Pepper jack boudin ball, ribeye wraps, chicken bites are absolutely amazing! Don’t forget deer burritos, meat pies, gumbo and so much more. I promise you will not be disappointed!
