We were a party of 10 for our sons 30th birthday. Drink menu was impressive as were the delicious appetizers and salads. Our waitress was wonderful and knowledgeable of the menu and explained everything well. Our mains were cooked to perfection and the steaks and seafood were amazingly delicious. Desserts did not disappoint nor the after dinner drinks. We cannot wait to return and make your reservations early for this popular spot at the Jersey shore.

If I could give this restaurant 6 stars I would. The drinks, the food, and the atmosphere were all top tier!

I find these bad reviews hard to believe. I went there for dinner last night, and it was a 5-star experience from beginning to end. Our group of 4 split the Porterhouse, two salads, and 2 sides. The food, service, and drinks were amazing. I can’t wait to go back.

Decided to eat outside for our kids birthday, place was pretty empty at 6:30 on a Wednesday yet we were seated directly next to an older couple (probably out for a quiet night) when there was plenty of room to spread out. Not bad for us, but probably not a great experience for them. Tried to order a local draft beer and was told the tap just kicked. Nothing left but mass market bottled beer. Daughter said her Shirley Temple was one of the worst she ever had. Steak ordered medium came out med/well. Steak ordered med/well came out well. Should have just slapped mine on the back of the toilet since that’s where I spent the next day anyway. There is better meat at most gastropubs. Kicker was the 4% “service fee” for paying by credit card. Not a great experience on any level. If you want to charge Manhattan prices, come through with Manhattan quality. Wife said that her martinis and scallops were good, so there’s that….

What a lovely restaurant and experience! Came here for my partner’s birthday. We were a group of 7 adults from manhattan. The steaks were amazing and cooked perfectly. Recommend the tomahawk. The sides were good, specifically the mashed potatoes and the broccoli rabe. Service was lovely. Star of the night though—> SCALLOPS. Phenomenal. Will definitely be back!

Phenomenal service and hospitality. Very welcoming and attentive staff. Place was beautifully accented with a rustic yet modern appeal. Came in on a Friday night to a full house with no reservations and was seated quickly. The food was absolutely delicious and properly prepared. Hats off to the chef! Ordered the lamb lollipops as an app- perfectly cooked and garnished with (my favorite) mango chutney (now I know for sure there was a reason I walked into 2 other restaurants prior to this one before choosing Berkeley’s Cut). Had the pleasure of having Alex as the waiter who thoughtfully suggested a Halibut fish special after I hungrily rushed to order the Salmon (thank you for that, I would’ve definitely ordered the Halibut from the start if I had given a chance to hear the specials). My wine glass was never empty (thank you, was a long day) and the special attention to a child at the table is always respected! Will definitely be returning soon but next time leaving room for some dessert- must try your creme brûlée !

The food is embarrassingly bad. Save your money and go to a diner, you’ll be much happier with the meal. The oyster Rockefeller is cheese wiz with spinach and is disgusting. It’s not served on a bed of rock salt like you would expect from a top restaurant. The chop salad was good, that and the bread was the best part of a terrible meal. We ordered two stakes medium, one came out correct the other was med well, and the manager was arguing we ordered it wrong. Had the bone in strip, fatty with a tendon. 1/3 was fat, poor cut of meat. Better stakes can be found at a butcher. The creamed spinach was also terrible, no flavor. It was gooey spinach covered with cheese and had no flavor. The chef should change careers, the worst $300.00 meal ever, actually one of the worst meals in my 65 years, ended up eating pizza. Stay away, you can thank me later…
