This place is kind of off the beaten path, and doesn’t look like much outside, but DO go in! It is 70’s styling, dark, quiet, and warm and cozy. The meals are out of this world, large portions seem to be there shtick! My wife ordered the fried chicken and was brought 3 HUGE breasts! Needless to say we needed a to go box. Service is friendly, bartender come to your table for drink orders. Fair prices!

This is an old style steak house. I was not impressed with my new york steak but a person in my party had prime rib, which he liked. They offer a big selection on the menu, the fired chicken looked good. The augrautin potatoes were not good. The vegetable tray was nice as well as the bread. Good service, clean, friendly. Bernardo’s is supposed to be a nice sit down establishment with expensive quality food. That is not what I got when I went. The decor was ok. I liked the medieval armor and curtains, but where we ate was dark and a little cold. I went with a big party so we got a large table. A big part should equal big bucks for the business. I expected to be treated a little better. The food itself was below par. My hamburger was under cooked and wasn’t very good beef. Over all it is a weird little place with expensive food that doesn’t give you what you paid for. I had a poor experience and am disappointed.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The exterior and inside of the restaurant is 50’s-60′ style…very warm colors and liw lighting. The Hawaiian chicken was delicious and our waitress Renee took very good care of us. Thank you Renee!

Exceptional service, quality food, and homemade desserts are just a few reasons to eat here. The lack of windows give the environment consistency; it’s relaxing and perfect for the experience. I wish I lived closer.

Food was not fresh made. It was something frozen then thawed and cooked. 20+years cooking under my belt. Atmosphere was on the dark side which made us feel dreary.
