Thought I would try this out before it’s Black owned and in my neighborhood. The prices were higher than where I normally get BBQ . The portions were small. The bottom of the container was filled with French fries and very little meat. I ordered the Large Tip/Link Combo . Only one link and scraps of tips . It looks like it’s the flap meat part of the tips that you don’t serve as a tip to paying customers. The sauce isn’t good tasting at all. Highly disappointed. Won’t be going back. Buyers BEWARE.. The owner is now saying that I returned the food 2days later saying that I did so because I had a sick child that I was tending to, and that he tried to resolve this with me which is all a Big Fat Lie. I never went back to return anything . He must have me confused with another Very Unhappy, Unsatisfied Customer. Not only is the Food horrible but now he is telling Lies about the Customers that were trying to Support this Black Owned Business. Simply Sad and Disgraceful.

Ordered the small rib tips. I thought the portion I received was on the small side, and served in the type of clam-shell that you would put a hamburger in. They probably should really call this size a mini-rib tip dinner. The tips were fresh, but were on the tough side and not particularly meaty. I probably enjoyed the sauce more than the actual rip tips. While the customer service was very good, I could not say that I am a fan of their rib tips.

The turkey tips I had were good the first time, but not good the second or third time I got them, they were chewy. The sauce is good. But everytime I go they’ve been out of dirty rice and pork tips. Last time I called at 5pm and they were out of dirty rice, pork tips, turkey legs, and chicken tips and didn’t close till 8. I don’t think I’ll bother going back at this point.

Today my Mom and I had thee best turkey legs we have had in our lives. The turkey legs were so tender, the meat fell off the bone, and the sauce was superb. We are DEFINITELY going back to get another order of those delicious, juicy turkey legs.

I don’t live near Bernice’s Barbeque. One day I was at the barbershop getting my haircut and I over heard the barbers talking about how good Bernice’s Barbeque is so I decided to try it out after I finished getting my haircut. I get it’s truly a great BBQ joint. All of their meats are prepared to perfection. Their sandwiches are DELICIOUS And I can’t forget about the variety of sides you can order with your Barbeque. I make a special trip to Bernice’s twice a week. Bernice’s Barbeque is worth the trip and if you think you’ve had the best BBQ elsewhere, compare… you wont be disappointed.

I had the rib tips and fries and my wife had the smoked wings and dirty rice! The food was delicious! We dined in and the customer service was on point. I ended up getting another rib tip to go for later. We will definitely be back!

Visiting from Atlanta and happened to find this treasure. I wasn’t sure I wanted to try BBQ away from home, but I am so happy I did. I wanted to try something I wouldn’t typically have so I opted for the turkey tips! They were delicious!!! I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town.

I would have never expected to have chicken tips, but they were tender & delicious, and the turkey leg, the meat was falling off the bone. Wow . Definitely worth it.

I truly can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. From the customer service to the delicious food, it was a great experience. I’m usually not a fan of BBQ away from home but the food surpassed my expectations. This restaurant has easily worked its way onto my family’s list of favorite places to eat.
