I got the jerk chicken wings n shrimp combo. That spice was right on. I got the Mac n cheese and the cabbage as my 2 sides. Everything was perfect. Check this place out. Friendly service, too. I’ll be back.

Food was pretty good. I think I would’ve like some of the other menu items better than what I got. I had jerk rib tips, fried chicken wings, collard greens, and yams. The fried chicken wings weren’t seasoned that well. They add gratuity automatically and don’t let you know and I’m a big tipper so my bill was way more than it should’ve been didn’t know until I got the itemized receipt afterwards.The service was good though and the atmosphere is great!

Food was good and seasoned well. I had the jerk rib tips w/ cabbage. The Mac was mid, but I’m used to the baked version. You’ll have to try it for yourself. The drinks were good. I had the house margarita, the bartender was nice and on point. Definitely support this business.

OMFG!! IDK what to say!! When I say everything was everything!! The atmosphere, the service, the food! It was all amazing, fresh, fast and so good. I got the jersey salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and the candied yams.. I will definitely be back!!

Great atmosphere BUT the food portions are entirely too small. I purchased 3 of the lamb chops and a side. Imagine how shocked I was to see three, tiny lamb chops no larger than half of my palm; two bites of each and it was gone. Honestly, my 4 year old grand daughter would ask for seconds.

This place was AMAZING! I sat at the bar and received the best service I have had in a very long time. The drinks were amazing but the food was so delicious I honestly can’t find the words that give all the credit the owner deserves! His heart is definitely in his cooking. The day I went Bernie’s ended up selling out of food. The owner came out and talked with the customers including myself. He talked about where the name came from in honor of his mom Bernice. He is not only a marvelous cook but a very humble man! I’m from San Antonio and I wish I was closer so I could eat there more often. Great job and keep up the great food! I will definitely be going back when I’m in the area again!

I have been looking for a place to get oxtail, and Bernie’s did not disappoint!!! The customer service was awesome from the start. The experience started with myself and my Round Rock Ques Chapter Bruhz getting to the establishment earlier that it opened for service. The Owner still let us in, and explained that his full staff wasn’t there yet, but he didn’t want us waiting in the HOT sun which we understood, and appreciated! There was 25+ of us. Now, once they were ready for service, the staff was on it – taking orders, getting drinks, checking on us to see if we needed anything while waiting on our food. Which didn’t take long, considering the size of our group. Once the food came out , it was OWTSTANDING (It’s a Que Thang)!!! Great flavor and great portion sizes! I got the Jerk Oxtail plate with mac and collard greens, and Oh My God- I devoured it. The jerk sauce that covered the Oxtail was so delicious I was dipping my cornbread it, the sides reminded me of home comfort food! I can honestly say this place is legit! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!
