I can’t believe I haven’t heard of Berry’s until just now! They are amazing! Service is exceptional and so is their BBQ! We come from the Midwest so have high standards when it comes to bbq and a lot of the places in WA haven’t been the best. However, Berry’s is now officially our go to BBQ place! Food was so so delicious and cooked perfectly! You can tell they cook with love! Oh and their sweet potato pie is THE. BEST. EVER. I highly recommend checking this place out!!!!

We live close by and have been eyeing this place for years, wondering, hoping, wishing that the doors would open again. We picked up an order with my parents in town and everyone loved their meals. Great flavor and cooks on the meat. The sides were all delicious. I’d never had cornbread like this and loved every bite with some butter spread in the middle. You might be intimidated by the prices, but the portion sizes were well worth it, we have a full lunch ready for tomorrow.

I came in towards closing & asked if the “Chef’s Sampler” had ribs, because that’s what I wanted. (I’ve only been here once before years back, & Rufus took my order). She said yes, and even gave me a few extra ribs for free!! I got the greens, cornbread, and yams for side dishes. It was ALL incredible!!! The hot links flavor was so delicious and were tender & amazing. The ribs too were great, and the chicken was incredible (the chicken was tender and moist cooked perfectly. The greens were simply seasoned and cooked just right (not too much, not too little). The sauce was great, not too sweet or overpowering. Brisket was great, it was all great. Thank you for the great food and wonderful service. I said a prayer up to Rufus & your entire family up there in Heaven and thanked them for the wonderful food and mentioned how wonderful you are. God bless you, and I’ll be back!! =)

Finally an authentic dry rub Kansas City BBQ place with excellent collard greens!! The meat is very tender and falls off the bones. Everything is authentically homemade and the owners are awesome/very friendly! Must definitely try the Berry Hot sauce and Berry Gold sauce, but of course, the Original sauce is a staple. Corn bread is to die for!! If you are from the Midwest, you’ll love the style. If you are from Texas, you’ll love the flavor. Definitely will come back again for more!

This was our first time eating from here and wow! The ribs were delicious and so was the potato salad and beans. My wife had their brisket plate and said that their corn bread was the best she’s ever eaten. We are definitely eating here again!

Greens not seasoned ribs gross the ribs tasted very strong of pepper. They also tasted as if the were in the fridge and heated up the meat was very tough. I use to love Berry’s and Berry was a very nice man. It too bad I was so excited to come back. I would see who was cooking on last Friday because I promise that was not his recipe. The ribs tasted like straight pepper and they where tough.

Yum yum yum. Cornbread is the best stuff I have ever had. I am glad they kept it in the family. The food is the best. My daughter loves the collard greens, I love the cornbread and BBQ. The staff are really nice and friendly.
