Today’s was a terrible day for Bertuccis in Andover. Not sure if the other extremely disappointed patrons will also comment but I will. Brought my family in for a late lunch, no one else in the restaurant except a few coming in for pickups. Ordered two adult meals, a kids pizza and two kids chicken meals. See attached for pics of kids chicken meal. I didn’t take a picture of the personal pizza but it was even worse. One guy who waited patiently for his very delayed takeout, informed the staff that his pizza wasn’t even cooked!

When we travel to NE to visit family we always go to bertucci’s as this is my spouse’s favorite. Ordered online with no issues. Its 3:15 pm so not in the middle of any rush – <10 customers in the whole place. Show up and we are told they don’t have the order. Another person shows up and says the ticket printed blank so they don’t know what should be done next. They ask if we really ordered and received an email confirmation. When I provide this they get more nervous about the “missing” order. In the meantime I see the gentleman who makes the pizza removing pizzas that look like they’d be ours. The manager (temporary from another store) asks what we ordered, name, etc. he finds it on the tablet. I point out the pizzas on the counter look like ours that have sat open for several minutes. He says yes they are. They bag up the order. We get back to our hotel. Salads are soggy, croutons soaked and no crunch at all. One of the pizzas was fine. The other had only one of the toppings correct and couldn’t eat it because of some additional item on the pizza (ricotta cheese or something else). Additionally, if you care that the staff making your food wearing masks, do not here. With one exception - the man making the pizza had a mask over his mouth - No one wore a mask. Disappointing visit when expecting much more based on previous visits.

They used to be good 10 years ago. I don’t know what happened but they are poorly managed and screw up our food every time. Raw fish one time (cod limone) and we stayed away for many months. Went back and figured they could not mess up pizza… burned the bottom. Another time our food took 40 minutes. Today I ordered a pizza online and paid in advance, walk in the door and “oops” they hadn’t even started making it. This business needs Gordon Ramsey or something — they are circling the drain.

Unfortunately they’ve gone down hill a little. The promos they send out got better but the prices also went up and the quality went down. It took 30 minutes for us to get a meal size salad, pasta dish and side of meatballs last night. We sent the salad back because dressing was supposed to be in the side but 25 minutes later we had to ask them to forget about it and give us the check. When our waiter asked the cook to remake the salad he loudly said “are you serious man!? What’s up with this” making us uncomfortable with the situation. We got a piece of cake to go but it was dry and the pasta portion was tiny for $15 and included burnt sausage. It was still decent overall and the roles can’t be beat. I really hope they improve

Fantastic food and great atmosphere. The service was great and our waiter was very prompt with drinks and food. Bathrooms were very clean and the whole establishment. Be back soon for some more delicious food. Keep up the great work.

My wife and I went to Bertucci’s in Andover on Sunday the September 26th. I had not been to this location before and will not go again. When we got inside we were not really greeted by a young man whose expression was more like “what do you want” and certainly not “hello, how may I assist you” or even ” how can I help you”. Then, he did the grosses thing and whipped his nose with his thumb and forefinger. Yuck! He told us to grab a seat. If my wife had seen this we would not have stayed. But because I was confident that he wasn’t touching any food, I chose to tell the manager later that the greeting I got was disgusting. After we were seated the server took a while to get to us. I guessed that he was new because his demeanor of a waiter that was overwhelmed with not that many tables to tend to. So, yeah, slow inattentive service. But he got the order right so, I saw that as a plus for the young man. Just tell him to put his gold chains away. He wore them outside of his buttoned up polo shirt. It could be dangerous for him and it’s gaudy.
