The food was good. Pretty safe. The home fries were bland, the big meat omelet was good. The thick French toast seemed to be grilled bread not battered, just grilled. The pancakes were good. If you just want something pleasant and safe, order hot sauce and shake the salt and pepper. The syrup tastes candied. It is very different from anything I’ve tried. You’ll be fine here. Nothing spectacular but sometimes simple is all you need.

Went on a Tuesday morning, great atmosphere but not too busy; a party of two was seated immediately.

Went for breakfast and food was eh at best. Breakfast sausage was tasteless. (That went for both the sausage links and sausage patty) home fries were decent once you added salt because it was flavorless. Pretty sure the cook doesnt taste their food or has no tastebuds. White toast and eggs were good but we could have done that at home. Pancakes were dry and had an extreme sour taste to it. 1 bite and spit it out. Guess we should have got the hint when another customer threw up.

Get seated in the back if you can. Great original diner. Stainless all over, very cool 50-60s Formica ceiling, GREAT food and service. Some interesting local flavor while eavesdropping over brunch.

So I’ve lived in PA for about 20 years now…been to almost every diner in a 30 mile radius. I grew up in NJ which is the diner capital of the US(over 500, which is more than any other state) so we’re serious about diners.

Delicious food! Burger was fresh meat not frozen patty like lots of other places..fries were the beer battered fries and they were so tasty! Our waitress was Amanda, she was very pleasant and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. You can’t beat the price either! Highly recommend

From NY – We took the food to go but everyone inside was so nice. The food was AMAZING. Probably one of the best diners I’ve ever been too. We got pancakes and the meat lovers omelette. Definitely thinking about going back. 10/10

A dining staple on the community for years. Been going here for over 25 years. Great diner with friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff. Fast service, good food, awesome daily specials & very reasonable prices. Great place for comfort food. We went for lunch and I had the grilled ham and cheese and soup. My better half had the chicken sandwich.
