Great Tapas restaurant. If you like sharing your food this is a place for you. We got basically everything on the menu and everything was tasty. They did just open their doors but we were slightly disappointed that they wouldn’t accommodate 5 people in a party. We were a bit squished. If we had one more they would have moved more tables. I’m sure that will be fixed as they continue to open and progress. Other than that we had a blast. Bartender was a riot. Beautiful drink garnishes. Octopus was perfect.

Sarasota’s newest hotspot downtown! We had our friends group meet early & thankfully we were able to sit together at the bar! The staff was very accommodating, friendly & efficient as we strolled in separately. We helped by ordering as we sat, so that it wasn’t a huge group order all at once. We simply ordered an item or two & shared & then would place another small order. The decor is inviting & the space is thoughtfully designed. It’s not too crowded or too dark like many other restaurants. The food is exquisite!

We had an amazing time at Beso yesterday! The service was at 100% and the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Our waitress Angie was kind and attentive. She knew the restaurant menu like the back of her hand! Oo. The sangria was soo good and the food reminded us of our time in Spain. Idk why this restaurant wasn’t packed out but I’m sure it will be soon. We went in but most tapas are between $10-$18.

I love State Street Eatery…so I have been looking forward to experiencing Beso. We ordered 3 different Tapas & were very pleased. The mariscos paella looked amazing…however not traditional paella. The rice was “crispy”, the clams & squid were super tiny. I appreciate that it is their version…however I was expecting traditional paella with moist saffron infused yellow rice. I will be back for their tapas.
